Adequate but ill maintained and dirty

Nice location, good size for a family, property manager is responsive. After our stay I reported two unsafe conditions and cockroaches which I was told would be remedied. Listing does not reflect overall rundown condition of the property.

Needs updating on pictures and some furniture !

I questioned before the cancel date concerning the cockroaches ! I was told that was taken care Of ! There are still Cockroaches! I am Not happy with that at all! Couch was very old and looked dirty ! The size of the house was great! This house really need some work on basement laundry room and bathroom down stairs . For what we Paid to Stay I am very disappointed . Be sure and believe reviews ! I wish I had!

Worst VRBO experience ever, anywhere, at any price

Worst property in all our years of travel (dozens of rentals in many states and countries). Outside: trash and clutter, yard recently cut but not finished. Gas can 3/4 full left in yard, weeds & clippings on patio and walkways - unsightly and unsafe. House layout is as described and work done inside seems recent and some is done well. Major issues: non-working lights, broken floor tiles in kitchen are very dangerous. Lack of ground fault receptacles in bathrooms and perhaps kitchen. Door to basement opens "downstairs", handrail is on wrong side and loose. Downstairs bathroom is unsafe and unusable for anything other than commode. Shower does not drain. No lights over sink. Noticeable leak from upstairs bathroom has previously collapsed portion of the ceiling and risks another failure. Damage to walls and baseboards throughout. Laundry room is disgusting and should be finished or shut off from house. Sauna doesn't work. MFR stickers remain on many windows. No curtains or blinds in upstairs bathroom. Hot tub is broken. Gas grill is disgusting and rusted beyond use as is the "fire pit". (3) propane tanks on property "All Empty!" Bugs were everywhere. Management was made aware and offered a refund if we moved. However, because of Boulder event all hotels were booked or overpriced and no house rental options were available for a two night stay and we were booked starting Sunday in Woodland Park. I have photos of all items discussed for ownership. Bob K

Cockroach problem- known and not addressed and more

Property not as advertised, but as presented in May 29th review (wasn’t posted until after my stay). Reported the live cockroaches within hours of arrival-reply was this couldn’t be true as cockroaches were rare in Colorado.Was asked to send pictures. After pics were forwarded, reply was that they would send an exterminator, nothing else. That evening, with more sightings/pics sent, management replied offering a refund so I could find other accommodations, now close to midnight of 2nd night of a 3 day stay and no exterminator. To see the last person who stayed had same complaint, mngmt reply the issue was remedied is unacceptable. Took pics to convince the agent that they were roaches, apparently they rented unit knowing there was a pest issue. Other notable defects inc exposed electrical wiring (cables traversing through drilled holes in the walls), cracks in kitchen tile floors with spalding tile (gross unevenness of the floor), unplumbed doors that would not close and squeaked, several burnt out bulbs, frankly hazardous access to basement (door opening into handrail, uneven/ slanted stairs), fridge w/o operating ice maker or water dispenser, kitchen ants and NO out yard maintenance. Interrupted stay for hot tub repair, roof inspection. Final afternoon of stay pest control arrived unannounced telling us we would need to vacate premises for several hours- without opportunity to prepare our stuff or plan to vacate. Beyond comprehensible that vrbo promotes such a property.

Longmont trip

The house was nice enough. The window blinds in the front room did not work. Garbage disposal sounded like it was broken. Water in the hot tub was stagnant and unusable. the yard needed mowing. Parking was difficult.
