Lovely place to stay

We came for the weekend to attend the Air Power Over Hampton Roads Air Show. This was the perfect place for us to stay. The house was lovely and quaint. We felt at home as soon as we walked in. The neighborhood is quiet and the sunsets were beautiful. Great for walking the dogs! We were really excited when we got to see the Thunderbirds practicing right from the house. It was so cool because our son in-law is one of them. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and we loved the eat in kitchen. -This shouldn’t stop you from enjoying this lovely home, but I do want to point out a couple things to keep in mind. The room with the twins beds are perfect for kids, but it doesn’t have a bedroom door. If you’re tall you may need to duck when going into the bathroom because it has a low ceiling. Not to worry though because the rest of the house has tall ceilings. I point this out because my husband is tall but he was fine with it being low. We would definitely stay here again, weather attending an air show, sightseeing, going to the Theme Parks, spending time at the beach, or just having a weekend get away. Our host was wonderful, thank you so much Heather! We loved your home and your hospitality.

Great experience

We had a great stay at the property. The amenities at the property were very nice and it accommodated 7 people very well. One thing to note: the bedroom with the separate twin beds didn’t have a door. This wasn’t an issue for our guests but it would be something to note for a different make up of visitors. Overall a great experience!

Family Hampton Trip

So thankful this property was available. Super cute and just the right size for our weekend. Pet friendly and a short distance to Grandview. Great communication with manager and easy check in/out. We would totally stay here again. Very clean. Neighbor was nice and quiet. Only downfall was bathroom doorway/ceiling/shower was low … we are a tall family and 6’5” had to duck lol

A few days in Hampton

The house was perfect. Most impressively was everything in the house is very nice. I’ve stayed at a lot of places that look nice but once you’re there the appliances are old and the furniture is lumpy and creaky. Not here. Comfortable furniture and nice new appliances. This made it so comfortable and easy to live in.

Long Relaxing Weekend

This house was perfect for our stay. There were three of us, and there was enough room to spread out. It was in a quiet, safe neighborhood, where we took several walks. Comfy beds. It was clean and had ample towels. It was near Phoebus where we ate out several times, although we also cooked in the large kitchen at times. We visited several nature preserves/beaches nearby. A handrail on the two front steps would be appreciated by senior occupants. Would definitely book this again. Thanks so much!

The space is less than 15 minutes from the beach. Convenient location, clean, comfortable, and plenty of linens and beach supplies. Heather was responsive and host instructions were clear and thorough. Overall a great experience!

From start to finish this stay was incredible, we had a wonderful vacation, this property felt like being home. It was so cute, and an absolute perfect location. The neighborhood was very quant. We even met a neighbor who was friendly. The host was extremely attentive to me/us. I really just cannot boast about this location and experience more. LOVED it and will try to continue renting this property whenever I come into town, if possible. Thank you!

Family Vacation Spot near the Beach

I would book this home again. Lovely cozy home near Buckroe Beach, and other local attractions for all age groups. We stayed Monday through Thursday. The host even had beach accessories, and toys for the kids, plenty of household items. I was even surprised that several online streaming platforms were accessible to use to watch. The neighbors we met were very welcoming and friendly as well. The only issue we experienced were the unwanted ants. Too many to kill so don’t leave any food or drink cups out.

Nice, comfortable stay

Everything was expected as described in the online listing. The washer/dryer on site was sooo convenient albeit a little noisy. The large family room with sectional couch was conducive to fun family board games and relaxing. The kitchen was adequate for seating our family of 6 and equipped to allow us to cook some meals instead of eating out (saving $$). A small quirk to note is that tall people (>6ft) will have to duck a little walking into the bathroom and being under the shower. I quickly adapted to this, but wanted to share with fellow tall folk. Plenty of outdoor space for yard games or throwing or kicking a ball around, but no shade for other activities. But frankly, we enjoyed the refreshing, cool AC inside anyway. Reasonably priced and in a location within 45-60 min of VA beach and Williamsburg. Closer access to Hampton and Norfolk provided some fun exploration as well. The host was super responsive and answered all my questions ahead of our arrival.

Excellent accommodation

Despite a few blips on our arrival day, we were very happy with this place and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet place near Grandview. Comfy beds, plenty of towels (for bathing and the beach), and lots of supplies if we ever needed them. We only cooked breakfast in the morning, so not much cooking otherwise since fresh fish awaited. The neighborhood is nicely located to enable lots of discovery of what Hampton and surrounding areas have going for them. We managed to hit all of our goals, revisiting places we knew as a young family stationed in Norfolk. Needless to say, we love how Hampton has grown and changed over the years, and this house enabled us to relax and enjoy.

Sweet Cottage

My family absolutely loved staying at this sweet place for 2.5 weeks. Comfortable and well stocked. Great quiet neighborhood with the most friendly neighbors. We took walks after supper which was always enjoyable. Went to the beach and the weather was perfect. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend to family and friends. Great location

A few of us came to Hampton to see a couple of concerts at the Coliseum. The location was just far enough away from the action to give us the peace and quiet we hoped for. A 10 minute drive brought us right back to the restaurants and excitement and everything we needed. The house had everything we needed. Clean and comfortable.
