2000 sq. ft. home in a quiet country setting less than two miles from uptown. Roxboro, NC, 30 to 40 minutes to Chapel Hill, Durham, Burlington, Oxford/Henderson, Danville & South Boston.

The two large local public lakes are (Hyco & Mayo Lakes). The largest lake in the State of Virginia is Buggs Island which is located in Clarksville Virginia. The lake is only 36 miles. Each lake offers wonderful opportunities for sunning, swimming, great crappie & bass fishing (from the bank or your boat), skiing, tubing, wakeboarding (if you bring your boat), kayak & canoe rentals, boat launch, amphitheater, walking trails, wildlife viewing deck, and all other water-related activities. Duke University Hospital & the Durham Bulls minor league baseball games (good, family fun that you can afford) are less than 40 minutes away. This is a perfect place for someone wanting more space, privacy, and amenities.

You're within 5 minutes of 2 (chain) grocery stores, all the regular fast-food restaurants, shopping, & quality locally owned & operated Steak, Seafood, Italian, & Mexican restaurants. You're 10 minutes from Palace Pointe Family Entertainment. Palace Pointe is unique because it has all under one roof 20 bowling lanes, 8 movie theatres, a video arcade, roller skating, 7 billiards tables, & food diner. Orange County Speedway, Person County Drag Strip, & South Boston Motor Speedway are all within a 30-minute drive. You can get to UNC at Chapel Hill in 50 minutes, RDU airport in 65 minutes, Raleigh & Hurricanes NHL Hockey games, RBC Center, & CASL Soccer Complex in 60 minutes, and Cary & WakeMed Soccer Stadium (NCAA Finals the past 2 years) & USA Baseball National Training Complex in 55 minutes, the new state of the art DPAC (Durham Performing Arts Center) that we in the Triangle are so proud of in 30 minutes.

Tunnel Creek Vineyard which is located at 1333 Berry Hill Roxboro, NC 27573 is a scenic 11 miles drive from our location.

The main bedroom has a queen-sized bed with an under-frame, nightstand, drawers, dresser, closet, rocking chair -blackout curtains (for those who sleep during the day), and Roku TV. The bathroom has a single sink shower and tub. The second bedroom has a twin bed and full-size bed with closets and a dresser. An air purifier is located in each room. A toddler's high chair for seating and eating and a children's table and chairs are available.

For local Spectrum television channels, use the Roku remote control.

Such a great place to stay! We were renovating our home and needed a place to stay while it was being done. Tammy’s Vrbo was the perfect home away from home. When I retired from law enforcement, I decided to move back to my hometown Roxboro, North Carolina. I wanted to live close to family, friends and my maternal grandmother, Selean Polly Daye Tuck, and my maternal grandfather, Harry Lee Tuck

I found the perfect location on Allensville Road in Roxboro North Carolina. A spacious two-bedroom ranch-style house was built in the mid-1970s. It has one and a half baths.

It is the perfect place for me to start a business in honor of my grandmother’s name, Polly Daye’s Vintage. It’s her middle name and her maiden name. It has a backyard deck that overlooks Bumpy Road Farms with its chickens, goats, horses, and donkey.

A gazebo and swing for relaxing in the backyard. The backyard is ideal for outdoor activities and the deck has a gas or charcoal grill for outdoor cooking and outdoor family gatherings.

At sunrise, the birds will chirp, and the air is filled with freshness. It’s the perfect place for an outdoor bicycle ride, an outdoor morning run, or an indoor run on a treadmill. The neighbors are friends who are the perfect boisterous neighbors from a distance. I love this place and you will too.
