A Desert Mountain Escape - Nested in Nature; Outfitted with Hammocks & Hot Tub!

Dead End Lodge is a gem-in-the-rough with absolutely magnificent views of the high plane deserts and mountains from our vantage peak. Our lodge is cool, comfy, cozy, eco-friendly, very unique, and above all a beautiful getaway.

SLEEPING: There is a pull out sofa bed in the living room, a separate bedroom with bunks, and there is an open-to-the-bathroom bedroom with a queen mattress.

PROPERTY: The lodge and the deck itself is all yours to enjoy. Please be mindful that there is a camp site on the upper lot that may have guests as well, but completely out of your view! Feel free to inquire about how to book those grounds if interested.

VEHICLE : Please check the 'Getting around' section above:
- Summer/Dry Season: Any vehicle may pass. (2WD, 4WD, etc.)
- Winter/Wet Season CAUTIONARY NOTE: If no snow is present, any vehicle should be able to pass. However, in rare occasions when snow storms pass through, 4x4 or AWD with snow chains may be required.

TRASH: Please consider bringing out any recyclables, trash, & food waste you bring in. We do NOT have local garbage services here. If you are unable to transport out what you brought in, please please please use our recycling and garbage cans that are clearly labeled.

With a diverse set of skills, outlooks on life, and origin, we bring you a bit of each of us, but more of what YOU want out of an off-the-grid experience and escape from city life or wherever you come from! We are all well traveled and well read. Very conscientious of others, each other, nature and our impact on earth. We range from 30s to 60s in this group, but we represent much more than that! We collectively speak English, Korean and Czech plus a sprinkling of some other languages. Always keen to pick up a few more words here or there for cultural enlightening!

Why they chose this property

This neighborhood is very special since it is very remote for the desert mountains. Also, we have arguably the BEST views of the desert planes and night sky in the whole mountain range! Dead End Lodge is located only 10 minutes from Wrightwood where there are plenty of shops, bars, restaurants and just 5 more minutes up the road is Mountain High Ski Resort.
