The family-friendly apartment of about 100sqm is located on the ground floor, except the second Bedroom with two single beds and TV / DVD can be reached via a staircase. The large spacious living room with flat screen, DVD, stereo leaves nothing to be desired. Lounging on the cozy couch (also extendable), reading a book or just relax watching a DVD or busy at the large dining room table with the children with different games. Everything is fun. The master bedroom with a double bed is located in the back of the house to the covered terrace. If the children sleep, you can still sit outside comfortably in the rain and sip a wine. Even in the kitchen you can make yourself comfortable at the dining table. The fully equipped kitchen with fridge, freezer, oven with ceramic hob, microwave with grill, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, sandwich maker, egg cooker and many other cooking utensils, mum or dad can conjure up a delicious meal, however, the children romp in the large garden, hop on the Trampoline, play football, bake their cake in the sandbox, rock or slide. The food is then served on the covered terrace. It can also be grilled or a campfire will be made. For the children there is then bread. Various play equipment also for the little ones are to be used. In the evening is then made fresh in the bathroom with shower and tub for the night. The toilet is separate. You can park right next to the entrance of the apartment. A travel cot and a high chair can be provided. Washer, dryer, a garden sauna and Wi-Fi can be used for a fee.

We warmly welcome you with a cup of tea in Rhauderfehn in our holiday home "Zur alten Bäckerei" with 2 separate apartments. The construction of the Fehnhaus began in 1897. The Fehnhaus, also called Gulfhaus, was then used for the farm, as the peat extraction slowly came to an end. The great-grandparents kept cows, pigs and chickens housed in the house. Only a small part of the house was used as living space.  In the house, the ancestors also ran a bakery in which only bread was baked, cake was at the time luxury. Over the years, the house was constantly rebuilt, the animals were abolished and the bakery abandoned.  For several years, the Fehnhaus is used as a holiday home.    Our house is located about 2km from the center. Here you will find numerous shops. Physicians moderate Rhauderfehn is very well placed. The varied landscape and the German Fehnroute can be explored very well by bike or on extensive hiking tours.  On the Fehnkanälen you should plan a canoe trip. The paddle and pedal station is in place. Our ice cream parlor "At Bruno" is highly recommended. The ice factory even delivers its delicacies worldwide. You can indulge in other regional restaurants. On request we also offer free guided tours in the Gulfhaus Ihrhove, Old Town Leer and in Rhauderfehn.
