Great place to stay!
Mary was great at communicating with me. She made sure the cabin was very clean. She provided us with excellent customer service! She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The resort is very relaxing and peaceful. I absolutely love the old school charm it has. Please don't ever change that! I'm hoping to go back this Winter.

Amazing relaxing vacation!
Wow this property had everything we needed and wanted. The cabin was so clean and spacious. King sized beds was so fun for the kids! The beach was perfect. So much for families to do from kayaking, canoeing, biking, even volleyball. Jeff was so friendly and accommodating. He was readily available when needed and definitely works hard to maintain his place so nicely. There was a park in walking distance for the kids to play and get ice cream. We absolutely loved this place and can’t wait to visit again!!

Wonderful place to return to, again & again!
Great stay at Bluejay cottage! Clean & plenty to do. Bikes, kayaks, rowboat, canoes, sandy beach, hard sandy bottom even in the water! A/C pumps out nicely on those hot days. Hopefully we can book again next year... Ray & Natalie J.

Great place for a small town get away
Overall it was a great stay, the property was as advertised in the listing, grounds were well manicured and everything was very clean. The only issue was the smell of the water, unsure of this was due to lack of use coming from the off season, or because it was well water. We just bought jugs of water to use to brush our teeth and showered off property. Everything else was great, we would definitely book again.

Hello my name is Mary Tobin. I was Born and raised in Michigan with a quick 10 year move to Asia and Europe. I was married at the time and our kids were babies (1 & 2). We bought a resort on the west side that was owned by the "in-laws", Big Blue Lake Cottages in 1999 but didn't take ownership and run the business until we returned in 2007 and landed in Ann Arbor. In 2018 I became a permanent West sider and moved to Big Blue Lake.
