About this property

You’ll have the entire house to yourself, located in a private country setting only minutes from the Youngsville SportsPlex and close to everything! Our guest house is casual and comfortable, simple living in our safe, quiet, private family neighborhood!

We’re not a typical rental - or investment property. Our guest house is located on our family homestead, where we’ve hosted for the past 4 years and earned over 100 “5-star” ratings! We’ll customize your stay as much as we can to accommodate you. If you have a special request, let us know. The house is very charming, with personal furnishings and feels like home. We’ll likely have snacks and special home-baked treats waiting for you.

We live next to the guest house and readily available to help. We’ll greet you upon arrival to answer any questions and provide information. We’re happy to recommend our local favorites.

OUR NEIGHBORS: We feel very fortunate to live in a private neighborhood….. family owned since the late 1800’s. We care about our family members and want to respect their privacy - please respect our QUIET HOURS …. Weekdays 9:00 pm and weekends 10:00 pm

Also, no large gatherings or invite additional people without discussing with us. Please limit gatherings to 10 people and 3 vehicles.

Please no third-party bookings. The person making the reservation must occupy.

Down Memory Lane

We took this trip to take my dad back to see where he used to live and visit with friends. Mary is amazing and the ultimate hostess! The property is beautiful and our 17 year old said it was her favorite part of the trip! We had a fresh baked cherry cobbler waiting on the table when we checked in and it was delicious! The rocking chairs on the porch, and the swing in the backyard were our favorite spots to enjoy the evenings. The house is the perfect size for small or larger groups of 6-8. When we come back, we will definitely contact Mary again!

Perfect stay for a family

This was a great location for a family stay. We were helping a local museum for the weekend and needed a place to stay that provided a kitchen. The kitchen was fully equipped so we were able to do several of our meals there instead of going out to eat. There was plenty of beds and the place was wonderful and clean!

We’re recently retired and have hosted our guest house for the past 3 years. Earl is a fix-it kind of guy and I love to garden and grow things.

Our guesthouse is an 80-yr old shotgun style, completely renovated and updated to modern standards. Charming with lots of character, casual and comfortable, and feels like home. Quiet setting, perfect for bird and butterfly watching and chickens out back!
