Why they chose this property

anco, one of Mexico City's upper-class neighborhoods, is filled with high-end hotels and shopping malls, as well as important theaters, art galleries and museums. It is also home to some of the best restaurants in Latin America and several avant-garde bars. Our guide offers you a list of some of our favorite places to help you plan your time in this beautiful neighborhood of Mexico's capital. Read on for our list of what to do in Polanco. Tacos al pastor are the specialty here. While not a roadside stand, it offers travelers the same authentic goodness without the risk of stomach upset. While there are some mezcal cocktails, the standard taco drink is beer or flavored water. Cucumber water and hibiscus flower water (agua de jamaica) are especially refreshing. Antara is a small shopping mall with a bright, high-class atmosphere. Here you can find several international stores, from major retailers like Zara and Mango to designers like Carolina Herrera and Hugo Boss. Even if you don't need a new outfit, come here for a Moyo frozen yogurt and people-watching. The lake in the middle of Chapultepec Park is filled with pedal boats that turn into movie seats. It feels unusual, quite unique and quite fun. The boats come together and turn into cozy, comfortable seating, perfect for couples or families with kids until after 8pm. The screen is huge, so there are no visibility problems. There are the Pujol fans and then there are the Quintonil acolytes. The kitchen here, which represents a new wave of Mexican cuisine, serves an extensive 10-course tasting menu featuring indigenous Mexican ingredients: corn, beans, squash, chiles and mushrooms. There are some meat dishes, and you can also order a la carte if you don't want to spend time and money on the tasting menu. Desserts, like a burnt corn ice cream, also shine.

Our security cameras in common areas allow us to be aware of your safety.
