Good location, but needed some cleaning/ upgrades

Villa smelled lovely, but there were stains on the couch, some pillow covers, and on the patio furniture. Some of the upgrades in the house were great, like the bathrooms were clearly updated, but the kitchen needed some love as well. The villa was within a 5 walk to the beach so the location was perfect for us. Overall, it was a good stay for us, it just needs a little bit of deep cleaning. The club house had ping pong and Cornhole for us to the play, and this villa was right behind the pool and hot tub, which was also nice.

Old and tired

The unit had a smell like smoke when we walked in. Vacasa was less than responsive to the issue. Thankfully windows open and fans running eliminated the issue. The unit had been cleaned but yet still felt slightly dirty and neglected. While the unit was sufficient to sleep in, it didn’t welcome us in to spend any time at the unit. Which is a shame because it has the nice large deck that never got used. The outside seating was uncomfortable and dirty. The sofas inside were stained and dirty. The kitchen cabinets probably had net been wiped down in a year. The places needs some TLC versus what the pictures portray.
