About this property

Log Cabin in the Woods, HotTub, Swing Bed, FirePit

BACK TO THE FORREST "is in a beautiful setting, very private and secluded".

There is no better feeling than hearing the sounds of nature, smelling the pine tree-lined forest as it glistens under the moon, and gazing at the majestic views in seclusion and privacy as you deepen your state of relaxation.

Inspired by one of the most iconic 80s movies, the cabin's name also celebrates the life of our Grandaddy Forrest Doolittle, a WWII vet.

Perfect place
What a wonderful, peaceful retreat! The cabin is secluded (several miles from the main Hochatown drag, which keeps it quieter), the fire pit with twinkle lights is magical, the outdoor living areas are lovely, and the indoor amenities are perfect. The hosts are lovely as well- they allowed us to check out late so we could watch the eclipse from the property. We will be back for sure!

Back to the Forrest brought our family together
The cabin was amazing and privately located. Every detail was thoughtful and on point. All your needs are taken care of, we cooked and grilled and made s’mores, and enjoyed the fireplace. They provide plenty of games and corn hole to enjoy with your family. The cabin is only a few miles to town for shopping and Beavers Bend Park. After a day of horseback riding and hiking, we enjoyed the hot tub. We definitely did not want to leave, maybe next time we’ll stay longer.

Relaxing Retreat!!
Our family had a wonderful and relaxing spring break. The cabin was immaculate and decorated so nicely. The owners thought of every detail to make the stay so enjoyable. The beds are very comfortable. We enjoyed the back patio, playing cornhole, and making s’mores. We hiked the Friends Trail and Spillway Loop Trail. If you are looking for great pizza, Grateful Head is just about 10 minutes away. We can’t wait to come back again. Back to the Forrest is definitely ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

Back to the Forrest
My husband and our 4 children escaped here for a 4 day weekend and we enjoyed ourselves to the fullest. Back to the Forrest gets a 5+ Star rating from us!! The owners were so responsive and helpful from the original booking, upon arrival and once we left even. The cabin is clean and beautiful and straight out of a Hallmark movie. We cannot wait to make our return!

It was perfect for our family in every way!
We celebrated my 60th birthday, which is the day after Christmas. Our family had never done anything like this before since it is so close to Christmas Day. It was perfect! We had a local photographer take family photos. The beautiful on site scenery was the perfect backdrop. We loved everything about our stay. Thank you Erica for making it a very special time for us. Erika and Mike LeBrun are the proud owners of the traditional, yet luxurious, Back To the Forrest Cabin. The couple along with their two children first came to Broken Bow nearly four years ago and quickly fell in love with the area. So, they decided to buy their own cabin. Mike is a veteran having proudly served in the U.S. Coast Guard and Erika works in marketing and philanthropy. The LeBrun family has a deep connection with the outdoors having spent many summers in Yosemite National Park. They love to spend time together fishing, hiking, and sitting around the campfire. They build this cabin to have a place to continue to make memories and share their experiences with their cabin guests. Their hope is that their guests also fall in love with the area and return year after year.
