Escape the hustle and bustle of your daily life and unwind at our serene Angel Fire Cabin, nestled in a tranquil wooded area right across from the Cougar Trailhead, ideal for hiking and mountain biking. Relax on our inviting wrap-around deck where you may spot deer and other wildlife passing by.

Conveniently located near the golf course, ski lift, bike park, Monte Verde Lake (perfect for fishing, pedal boats, stand up paddleboards, and more), and restaurants, our cabin is the perfect getaway for relaxation and adventure.

This lovely updated mountain home features two master suites and a split-level layout that offers room for everyone to spread out. Upstairs, you'll find an open living/dining room and kitchen with exposed timbers, a wood-burning stove, hardwood floors, and a window wall that lets in natural light. The renovated kitchen boasts granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a center island with seating.

The first master bedroom has its own wing upstairs, and the bathroom boasts dual sinks, a separate toilet/tub room, and lots of bonus storage. Downstairs, you'll find the second master suite, complete with a jetted tub. The other guest rooms each include carpeting and high ceilings with exposed beams. The hallway bathroom features cedar-plank walls and a stand-up shower.

As an added safety feature, two outdoor security cameras are installed, one facing the driveway and the other towards the shed. Rest assured that they do not look into interior spaces and do not actively record video or sound while guests are in residence.

Overall average

We tend to rent a lot for business trips in various states all over the Western US. While this certainly wasn't the worst, it was also not close to one of the best. It was average. This was clearly a second family home type accommodation and not specifically for renting. The decor was way personal and not geared towards different types of renters and certainly not business renters. Cleanliness was ok, not bad, but not great. The property location was close to the resort, but also offered privacy. While we would not stay again for business, it might be suitable for others wanting to enjoy the area more from a recreation standpoint.

Thanksgiving 2023

My husband and I and our 2 grown kids meet here for Thanksgiving and it was so nice, room for everyone, the kitchen was perfect for cooking a big dinner, and we loved the wood burning stove. We saw deer, elk and coyotes while we were chocking out the town. Everyone was very nice, there is a very well stocked grocery also. Overall it was great and we hope we can do it again in the future.

Spring Break 2023

We went for my daughters Senior spring break trip and the cabin was perfect for our group. Excellent communication w the owner. They answered all of my questions quickly. Beds were comfortable. Had a pack n play for my grandson. Everything we needed to cook breakfast and dinner. Boot dryer for the ski boots was nice. Even used a sled to send my grandson down the hill while the big kids were skiing. I definitely recommend staying here for your trip!!

Awesome Property, Even Better Hosts

We were so delighted in our stay in Angel Fire, NM. We would certainly stay at this property again! This cabin was perfect for our two families (four adults, 3 teenagers). We had the most perfect Thanksgiving. The size of the cabin is perfect - two master suites, plus two additional bedrooms and an additional bathroom. Amenities are even better. The host is so thoughtful, not only in constant and clear property communication, and also provided helpful tips for places to shop, eat, and more - including the most thoughtful in good brand shampoos, conditioners, laundry facilities, amenities, and more. We had full Thanksgiving meal in the kitchen. Awesome window views for the snow and wildlife. Great fireplace. They even put a Christmas tree in the property for us. They asked, we said yes, and it was there. That was so very thoughtful (and beautiful). The pool and foosball tables were a hit with the teenagers, as were the game amenities. Could not have asked for a better time, host, and property.
