Lovely Stay
The location of this place cannot be beat. Whether you want to walk into downtown Palm Springs or drive to a trail head it was perfect. Others mentioned they had difficulty getting into the condo but we did not experience that. Never did memorize the 10 digit code but always worked. Very clean, nicely appointed and comfortable to just hang. Liked having the washer & dryer right outside the back patio. My husband and I would stay again.

Read the fine print
Very nice property! The "defunct" golf course is now a nature preserve where you can walk. The pool and hot tub were very nice and very clean! The condo faces the main street, so you get car noise. The condo is very private - being at the very back. That makes it nice and quiet but dark, as the direct sun does not come in. Probably amazing in the summer! The upgraded kitchen and bathrooms were nice. The beds were comfy, as was the entire condo. The blinds and windows were old and dirty. The place is pretty dated and not really that well-kept. We called maintenance twice but didn't bother calling again (although both handymen, yes, we called twice, were VERY nice and helpful) about more kitchen lights going out and the back porch light not working. Check-in was terrible! After traveling for 12 hours, the code did not work, and we stayed on hold with "VACASA" outside in the cold for 15 minutes until finally, someone could give us the owner's code, and we got in. Very unprofessional. And this is the part I think people need to pay attention to. When you rent from VRBO, you pay a fee. When that property has another management company, you pay those fees, too. The cost of this place was double due to fees. We wanted to stay longer, but they wanted to charge us too much. I feel bad for the owner and would never hire Vacasa to manage my place.

Loved our stay, but beware of door lock
My wife and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary in Palm Springs. Wonderful time - took the tramway, some short hikes at San Jacinto, Andreas Canyon, Tahquitz, drove to Joshua Tree and fed rhinos at the zoo. And Village Fest was fun. Spent at least 1-2 hours sunning at the pool/hot tub. The apartment was roomy and beautifully styled (loved the animal paintings in the guest bathroom). Nice kitchen so we could have some meals without going out (btw, loved FARM and Tac/Quila). Would recommend easily. BUT there are a few small things to know. The biggest item, and we saw this called out in other reviews, is the lock. The combo for the digital lock did not work. Period. Multiple calls to guest services until someone finally gave us the combo for the lock box that is also on the door knob. That worked and only that worked. We were given multiple combinations for the digital lock and that worked once (ONLY once). We called and texted and didn't get responses after we had trouble with the digital lock again and decided at that point we would only use the key in the lock box. Make sure you get that combination too. The key is not easy to pull out of the lock but at least it worked. This may seem like a nothing issue, but when you have bags of groceries to bring into the apartment with you, you aren't looking for thawing of food while you wait for help to get into your apartment. You do hear some noise from the street behind you. It might bother the highly sensitive, but we were fine. The TVs could be troublesome to work sometimes but we made do. Would have been nice if they left a set of rules in the apartment and not just via email. And it would have been nice if they left a map of the facility. But to end on a positive note - clean & beautiful apartment, nicely priced, well-located, lots to do in the area. Just a lot of fun and comfortable for us to spend time together.
