If you open the gate to the large private property, you reach Casa Tropical via a well-kept driveway lined with palm trees.

The outdoor area is surrounded by a tropical garden and you can be visited by monkeys (howler monkeys), iguanas, red-tailed squirrels and numerous other animals and birds (hummingbirds, toucans, etc.).
Samara Beach is known as one of the safest swimming beaches on the west coast of Costa Rica, but is also known as one of the best beaches for surfing. You can reach our house via a tarred road (without potholes), so four-wheel drive is not necessary even in the rainy season. Bus stop is 150 m away and a small local restaurant with a great view of the mountain valley and waterfall is also 150 m away. There is a small local shop about 8-10 minutes away where you can buy the most important things in an emergency.
Boats can be hired directly from the beach for world class sport fishing, turtle and dolphin tours or simply to book a tour of the beautiful coastline. Visit Isla Chola or look at the whales, which can be seen regularly, there are many options for being taken there by boat.
Macaws can be observed on Carrillo beach.
You can book courses to learn to surf, our house is only 15 km away from one of the top surfing areas in the world.

One of the best deep-sea fishing areas in the country, especially from December to May. There are many species of fish such as sailfish, dorado, black and striped marlin, perch, yellow and black tuna, etc. The long sandy beach, lined with countless palm trees, is ideal for sunbathing, swimming and snorkeling.
