Welcome to our little log cabin!
The accommodation is part of our Quellental estate in Odderade, Dithmarschen district and is located in the middle of a forest clearing, embedded in a picturesque pond. Our forest company is part of the largest forest area on the North Sea coast, the Riesewohld. 700 ha z. T. unmanaged, near-natural forest to linger and explore.
The living room
The house has been completely renovated this year without losing sight of the former charm. With about 30 square meters of living space, a double bed on the upper floor and a sofa bed on the ground floor, the accommodation is most suitable for two but also for three people. A small, modern fitted kitchen with two ceramic hobs, a microwave with an oven function and a fridge with freezer are of course also available in addition to a pad coffee machine, a kettle, a toaster and a grill.
The underfloor heating on the ground floor provides cozy warmth, even in the cold season or in bad weather. There is a television with satellite reception and a USB radio. There is a wifi connection to the annex and it can only be used to a limited extent in the house.
Rather, you should enjoy the view from the window or even better use one of the three terraces and follow the sun around the house. The west terrace is located directly on a small pond in which frogs and many insects frolic. We don't actually find fish in our almost forty ponds anymore. The pond system has been part of a comprehensive conservation project since 2015. Apart from a frog concert in the evening, the grazing Soay sheep or the kingfishers and sea eagles that come to visit very often, you will not notice anything.
Of course there is a large swimming lake and a sauna, which are available to all residents in the Quellental.
