You live in the house of an artist in the midst of her paintings and books. The charm of the house continues in the large outdoor area with garden, pergola, terrace and patio. To the two large double bedrooms, a small bedroom, two bathrooms, cozy living room, kitchen and dining area is added a gallery with two mattresses.
In the living room you can sit comfortably together and watch videos, films or news. For the interim seasons warms you a pellet stove.
Sant'Andrea is one of the most beautiful seaside resorts on Elba with lots of greenery and fascinating rock formations. The sea is crystal clear.

Tolle Lage

Tolle Lage, mit Blick auf das Meer, sehr gute Raumaufteilung, die Terrasse ist ein echtes Highlight. Ruhige Lage, nicht weit zum Strand und Supermarkt entfernt. Man kann sich in dem Haus nur wohlfühlen. Wir waren 6 Personen und 1 Hund und hatten ausreichend Platz.

Ein sehr schönes Haus, in dem man sich wohlfühlen kann.

Schon bei Ankunft haben wir uns über das Haus gefreut. Hübsch gelegen, etwas weg von der Hauptstrasse, mit Feigen und Zitronen im Garten. Wir haben hauptsächlich am Tisch unter der Pergola gegessen, und nur abends drin gesessen, und haben uns zutiefst erholt. Morgens den Tag mit einem Kaffee zu begrüssen, dann den Tag an den Felsen von Sant Andrea zu verbringen, und abends dann eine Kleinigkeit essen und ein Glas Wein. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet und sehr praktisch, die Aussendusche eine Labsal um Salz und Sonnencreme abzuwaschen, und die Betten sind bequem. In Sant Andrea kann man auch essen gehen oder in der Strandbar einen Aperitivo trinken. Alles in allem kann man das Haus wärmstens empfehlen, wenn man Ruhe, Frieden, und Sonne braucht. Wenn man Party und Nachtleben möchte, sollte man eher an einen grösseren Ort gehen. Aber für uns waren das Haus und die Lage perfekt.

Unvergessliche Tage in einem wunderbaren Haus

Wir durften neun unvergessliche Tage in diesem wunderbaren Haus verbringen. Viele Türen führen ins Freie, meist auf die romantische Terrasse, auf der wir am Abend Karten gespielt und den Sonnenuntergang genossen haben. Jeden Morgen weckte uns ein herrliches Vogelgezwitscher und eine erfrischende Brise, die dann, wenn alle Türen geöffnet sind, durchs ganze Haus wehte. Auch durften wir aus dem Garten die reifen Zitronen ernten und damit unsere Getränke erfrischen. Der Weg zum Strand ist viel kürzer als gedacht. Das „Alimentari“ verkauft alles was man braucht vom Pecorino, Mufflonkäse und Foccacia bis zu Tabs für die Geschirrspülmaschine. Die frischen Croissants gefüllt mit Brombeermarmelade sind besonders lecker. Restaurants und Pizzeria am Meer gibt es mehrere die auch gut und günstig sind. Viele Bewohner treffen sich jeweils abends über den Felsenweg links vom Dorf auf den großen Steinen und warten bis die Sonne im Meer versinkt. Muss man erlebt haben. Mit den Vermietern ergab sich ein herzlicher Kontakt. Sie waren sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. So ergab sich auch eine Führung durchs Haus bei der uns die Hintergrund-Geschichten zu den großen harmonischen Gemälden verraten wurden. Ein außergewöhnliches Haus mit Kultur und Charakter, in das wir gerne wieder einmal zurückkehren würden.
