The Mint Julep is "one of the most delightful and insinuating potations that ever was invented." Like its namesake cocktail, this home is a quiet refuge from the heat of the Charleston summer and nearby hustle and bustle of the shops, bars, and world-renowned restaurants. Located on a small side street, 3 blocks off King Street, and a two minute walk to MUSC.

Live like a local in the heart of downtown Charleston. You're sure to love Julep's bright, spacious living room, cozy bedrooms, well-equipped kitchen, and designated work areas.

The Julep is a fully renovated Charleston carriage house classic that boasts two well-furnished bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, a ​bright living room with plenty of seating, well-equipped kitchen with all of the essentials needed to cook at home, take out, or entertain during your stay.

The Backyard bonus feature offers an outdoor deck off the master bedroom with a private seating area and shade umbrella. We offer four city bike cruisers to enjoy around town. The yard is fully fenced offering our guests a dog and kid friendly option for safe enjoyment.

You will arrive to see the kitchen stocked with all the basics needed to begin your stay with a coffee and tea station.

Unable to completely disconnect from the office or hoping to take advantage of working remotely? The Julep features two separate works spaces (a work desk area in the living room and a second desk in the master bedroom) with high-speed internet you can depend on to keep up with your digital nomad lifestyle. Need an extra monitor, mouse, or keyboard? Just ask!

For parents who love to travel, we understand the need for child-friendly vacations so we have made sure that The Julep also offers a pack-n-play crib, crib sheets, high chair, kids' cutlery, and stroller. Need something specific? Just ask!

The Julep is full of charm and class with its included 2 off-street private parking spaces making living downtown a breeze.

The location is a side street off Cannon Street and Rutledge Ave. Walking out your front door to over a dozen restaurants and cafes. A short 3-block distance to King Street.
The house is 15min to any of the three beaches - Folly, Sullivans, or Isle of Palms.

Short-term guests are welcome to my lovely little cottage in "The Bohemian" in the Charleston's Riverland Terrace neighborhood located 10min from downtown. Or live like a local at "the Charleston Julep" located in downtown Charleston only three blocks off of King Street in Cannonborough neighborhood on a quiet side street. Its the perfect blend of Charleston comfort, class, and charm.

I enjoy gardening, walking my two huskies, taking care of my chickens, and cooking local foods at home. I love sharing the joys of Charleston with visitors so I welcome your inquires on what to do, where to eat, and how to make the most out of your vacation!
