My wife and I stayed for a week during spring break in March. The location of the condo complex was easy to find but the unit itself was a but tricky. The designated parking spot was in the front of the building but the unit entrance was at the back as are all of them. Took a bit of walking around to find it. Check in was easy. Coded door look worked nicely. Way better than the old key lock boxes. The unit itself was good. The kitchen was was nicely appointed and looked newly renovated. The fridge was good but the ice maker/water dispenser did not work which was sort of bummer. The unit did not come with much beach equipment if that's what you are looking for. The air conditioning was the usual window unit near the lanai which was small and week but just enough to keep it comfortable as the sun doesn't really heat the place up. The windows in the bedroom open up so you can get a decent air flow overnight but I would not recommend keeping the lanai doors open overnight as the unit faces the street and the noise is quite substantial. We had to keep the lanai doors closed and use the a/c overnight just so we were not waken but constant vehicle noise. Other than that the unit was good. The location of the complex was convenient but there was a decent amount of sketchy people milling around. However, I think that's an issue for many places in that area of Kailua. The owner Dani was excellent to communicate with and very accommodating. For what we needed the unit was adequate.
