Not A Good Stay
I travel for my job and I enjoy traveling and staying in hotels. Every now and then I get the chance to take a few days to decompress before heading to my next destination.
I hoped this property would be a nice rest but it left a lot 2 be desired!
Although it was not my ideal location in downtown, I booked this place because it had a stove with an oven. After being in hotels, it would be good to cook a few meals instead of eating out. But after arriving and getting settled, I began to check out the unit.
The oven did not work, stove worked but no pots and pans.
Microwave did not work and tripped the GFI when I plugged it in.
No paper towels in kitchen.
Bathroom had no washcloths or hand towels. It did have two of the roughest (yellowed) bath towels I’ve ever felt. The military would be jealous.
No bathroom rugs just a bleach stained towel on the floor which is very unsafe.
Broken toilet tissue holder.
Smoke detector hanging from the ceiling.
Slats missing from closet doors.
TV in bedroom did not despite following the instructions from the property manager.
I also did not expect a 3 story walk up which is not so great for 50 year old knees. And I was inundated.by cigarette smoke in the courtyard and coming through the shared balcony off the bedroom. I not only detest cigarette smoke I’m allergic to it.
Lastly, the place is LOUD! People yelling in the courtyard, on the balcony and through the walls are just PLAIN LOUD!
