Located in the municipality of Rechlin, the area is close to the Müritz National Park, which you can explore on foot, by bike or in a horse-drawn carriage. Flat, sandy beaches, many small lakes with crystal clear water and a species-rich, natural flora and fauna characterize the landscape. From the Marina Müritz there is a lock and bridge-free access to the Müritz. You can rent open sports boats that do not require a licence, or rent larger houseboats.
