This spacious brick home in the country is located 1 mile from Harvey County East Lake Park and one half-mile from Osage Nature Trail, and offers the perfect country setting to relax on the back deck, take in the incredible blue skies in all directions, and enjoy s'mores by the firepit. Evenings are filled with spectacular sunsets, followed by constellation gazing under vast starlit skies. The entire home is an art gallery featuring large, beautiful canvases of some of our favorite vacation destinations that we have visited over the years. Located just 25 miles from the east side of Wichita, and 8 miles from Newton, this home offers the perfect, quiet escape from the daily routine.

Smoke detector going off non stop

Place was nice and welcoming. The smoke detector would not stop going off. We had to buy a $7 battery and fix this. Would like to get reimbursed for that. Otherwise fine.

A beautiful home with a view

This was amazing!! Our family had such a great time and it was big enough for our entire family! Check in and communication was outstanding. Would definitely recommend!

Wonderful place, wonderful owners

We could not have wished for a better property or owners to work with for our stay. We had a small family gathering to celebrate birthdays and everyone enjoyed the house so much and sitting on the back deck looking over the fields. There is great attention to details from the provisions to the landscaping (loved the Blue Spruces) to the cleanliness. The pool would have been used but the teenagers were too busy playing ping pong. We want to go back to this wonderful house and many thanks to Sheila and Sam for all their hard work.

The house was beautiful!!!

The onwers/ managers were awesome to deal with. I had to make a change on the original dates of my reservation & they were very nice and understanding while helping get them changed. I will definitely be booking with them again in the future.
