Thankful
Thankful for this wonderful property over the Thanksgiving holiday. The place was super! - well decorated, well stocked, comfortable, all in an incredible natural setting with every convenience. My husband and I, my sister and brother-in-law were delighted to stay in a place together while meeting up with local friends. The location was very convenient to downtown Murphy. Would recommend and stay here again.

Great Property nestled high up above the town of Murphy
Overall, I loved the property with the exception that I really wish it had a Hot-Tub. The property was as advertised and had plenty of room to stretch out. Since it was just me and the dogs, we mainly stayed on the upper floor. The cabin had everything I needed which came in very handy. I loved the location being nestled high up above the town of Murphy - my drive to/from my breakfast digs (Waffle King) was about 5-10 minutes so very convenient. The dogs were right at home too - we hiked during the day but also walked the gravel road at night so got to meet a couple neighbors. The temperature and scenery had me wanting for more-and-more with hikes in both NC and TN. There were 2 very minor issues (along with no Hot Tub) which is why I gave the property 4-Stars. 1) You have to drive to the Rental Agency Building to pickup key (and drop off key) before/after going to the property - this is different than majority of Vrbo's that I've rented. 2) The driveway is a bit steep/narrow and gravel and the turn-around (especially for a Crew-Cab Truck) is tricky - I finally got it down to a 6-Point turn in order to get the truck facing back up the driveway. Heading up the driveway, I had to keep momentum going so thank God no-one was driving on the gravel road above the driveway at the same time. These were actually fairly minor compared to everything and I would definitely stay at the property again. The folks in Murphy are some of the nicest folks that I've met.
