Perfect
My husband and I stayed here with our 2-year-old son and our dog. This was the perfect house for us: bright, clean, well-maintained and very child-friendly (in that there was no clutter and we didn't have to do any childproofing). There were plenty of extra linens and towels available and the kitchen was well-stocked with utensils. There is an air conditioner downstairs in the living area and another A/C in the twin bedroom, but none in the master; fortunately, it has really large windows and it cools down at night, so we didn't really need it. The twin bedroom also has no dresser but it has a large closet.
Some minor quirks to note: The deck didn't seem to have lighting at night (besides decorative strings of lights); the bathroom is downstairs while the bedrooms are upstairs (in case you have young kids who, like me, get up to pee in the middle of the night); and the yard is not fenced in (in case you have a wandering dog). In our case, the couple staying in the other house on the property also had a dog with them, so our dogs got to play together in the yard :) (But warning: Beware of skunks! Our poor dog found out the hard way!)
Tony's Market, which is just a few blocks away, is open from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., which was helpful for after-hours grocery needs (like the night our dog got skunked). The house is a very short walk into downtown Oak Bluffs. Each day we looked forward to getting out and about and then returning to the house and relaxing on the deck while our son napped. When it was time to go home, our son said, "No, THIS my house." Everything about the house was lovely and we all wish we could have stayed forever!
