Great spot in Philly

This cute studio apartment was perfect for what we needed: a good, clean base of operations with all the basics (WiFi, shower, bed, full kitchen, TV) and a good amount of space for a studio. Great location - only a block from the subway and nestled in the middle of Old City near Penns Landing with plenty of restaurants and stores nearby. If you're looking for a simple getaway in Philly alone or with a loved one, this is a great spot.

Stay in the Old City

apartment was nicely done; equipment available for self cooking, enough space for two people to be comfortable; instructions were reasonable, and owner was ready to help via email; the right lockbox was somewhat difficult to find and open;, and neighborhood looked a bit untidy. No safety problems on the street though; however, I was most bothered by the absence of any fire extinguisher, or smoke detector, as there is no other way out as through the stairway; windows open to blind wall. Otherwise it is quite q nice place to stay if you don't have much money to spend

Quiet retreat in the heart of the historic district

This studio had a large, nicely laid out floor plan in excellent condition. The owner was helpful and responses to questions were quick. Check-in was easy and instructions were easy to understand. The apartment was very quiet even though it was in the middle of the historic district. It was easy to walk to all the sights and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay here.
