About this property
Secluded cabin getaway on 40 wooded acres! - 45 mins from South Tulsa
Relax with friends and family at this quiet cabin surrounded by the beauty of the woods. While you're here, lounge on one of our hammocks, roast marshmallows around the fire pit, or grill while relaxing on the deck. For the more adventurous, use our map to find our pond, streams, and caves, or trek through the woods on one of our trails.
We have lots of indoor and outdoor games as well as wifi, tv and streaming apps to keep everyone entertained. We are 45 mins from Tulsa and 2 hrs from OKC
Bedrooms:
There are 3 bedrooms in the cabin. Starting from the top, there is a king bed in the loft area with a beautiful view overlooking the forest and the pond. The loft has a private attached half bathroom. The other two bedrooms are located on the bottom floor. The second bedroom also has a king bed with a view out to the bottom deck and the trees. The third room has a large bunk bed with full over full beds and a twin-sized trundle at the bottom. FYI -this room does not have windows in it. The bottom floor shares a full bathroom that includes a bathtub/shower. Additional sleeping can be found in the living area on the bottom floor. There are two sofa beds that convert into twin beds.
Living Rooms:
The living room on the main floor has all new furniture with every sofa seat being a zero gravity recliner. The seats are super comfortable after a nice hike. This living room connects directly to the kitchen, dining area, and top deck. There is a second living room on the bottom floor with the two sofa beds mentioned earlier. This room leads to the bedrooms on the bottom floor as well as the bottom deck.
Supplies Provided:
Smores Package – We got you covered on graham crackers, chocolate, and marshmallows. We provide these to all of our guests.
Coffee and Tea –We have a variety of ground and whole bean coffee options, along with a frother, sugar, honey, and assorted teas. We have a coffee grinder, a 14-cup coffee maker, and an electric kettle.
Beds/linens - You will have a memory foam mattress and luxury 100% cotton bedding on the loft king bed, lower level king bed, and full over full bunks. Regular mattress on the twin pull-out bed under the bunks. Extra bedding for the two sleeper/chairs in the lower level and if anyone wants to sleep on the recliners. You will have access to clean fluffy towels.
Baby/children items - You will have a diaper changing table, high chair, a pack and play, and baby gates if needed. Just let us know!
Basic Cooking Supplies - You will have pots, pans, cast iron skillet, knives, cutting boards, spatulas, peelers, can opener, bottle opener, cups, plates, and silverware. You have a whirly pop if you’d like to make homemade popcorn, and there’s also a waffle iron, both in the cabinet to the right of the fridge. You will also have a toaster and an air fryer.
You will have olive oil, vegetable oil, butter, salt, pepper, and seasonings. There is typically ketchup, mayo, mustard, butter, and jelly in the fridge. Occasionally farm fresh eggs are in the fridge for you too. Staple goods in the pantry like peanut butter, canned goods, flour, pasta, and rice are available if you need.
Note: Food items are not sterile nor single serving. If this bothers you, please don’t use them. We are out in the country in Oklahoma. Weather changes quickly around here. Sometimes if the rain or snow is bad, it may not be possible to run out to the store. We want to make sure everyone always has a little something to eat, even if you came unprepared.
Washer and dryer – Available and located in the shed with detergent
Guest access
The cabin and the surrounding 40 acres are for you and you alone to explore. There are no additional cabins or neighbors to share the property with.
Other things to note
We always have propane for our grill on the deck and firewood for our large firepit. Our favorite part of the property is exploring the 40 acres on one of our trails.
Currently, we have three trails and are in the process of adding a fourth.
Deer Trail – This is the easiest of the trails and is relatively flat. It’s about half a mile and provides the option to veer off onto the more challenging bear trail.
Bear Trail – This is a more difficult trail as it involves hiking up and down hills, around boulders, and over streams. This trail is closer to a mile since you’ll hike most of the deer trail to get to the bear trail. On this trail, you’ll go through the Enchanted Forest. Be careful not to wake the sleeping dragon and listen for the talking trees. Towards the end of the trail, you’ll go through the troll forest. Keep your eyes peeled for these tiny creatures.
Wolf Trail – This is the shortest of the trails at about .34 of a mile that will take you to a clearing on the property which will give you a direct view of the Arkansas River below. Just passed the clearing you'll enter the fairy forest. If you're quiet you'll see fairies in the trees. This trail has a slight grade up and down the hill.

Why they chose this property
We love the outdoors. Hiking and exploring the land is one of our favorite things to do with the kids. We found that many spots in Oklahoma have been overbuilt. Places like Broken Bow have beautiful cabins, however prices are often $400 to $500 per night and almost always you end up with no privacy surrounded by a neighborhood of other cabins. We wanted to provide a place that was secluded and affordable. That is why we purchased and have worked on this cabin for the last year.
What makes this property unique
In our experience, it is rare to find an affordable cabin with 40 acres and several fun trails.
