One bed/one bath apartment with queen size bed located near the Irving High School. Booking includes wifi, free off-street assigned parking, full size kitchen with basic pots/pans/plates/cups. Shared fenced backyard (no pets). No smoking, no pets, no parties. Max guest is 2 for this unit. Unit is within privately owned quadriplex. Smart TV in living room (no cable) to connect to your subscriptions. Within 20 minutes of downtown, Arlington (six flags, AT&T stadium), and DFW International airport, minutes from grocery stores, hospital district, parks, and entertainment. Experienced hosts.

Okay for quick stay alone but overpriced

Wife picked this one but with fees we could have stayed in a much better place and location. I would have never chosen this for her. I've never had to leave less than a stellar VRBO review before... The pros: It looked and felt clean. The bed was okay but low. It was quiet at night. Seemed like a fairly safe area. Convenient to Interstate. The linens were clean. The cons: It has an odor. Not sure if someone smoked in there or was previously inhabited by unclean persons. There is a mold growth in the coffee maker so we did not use it. Dishes were left in the dishwasher by previous peeps but they were clean. Overall, unimpressed for a VRBO property. Not characteristic of what we're used to for the price but we don't typically stay in metro areas. While I wouldn't recommend it to anyone I know, if you're in Irving and need a place and don't mind a little smoke smell or whatever it is, go for it. It was quiet at night. Do be mindful the sliding back door can't be secured with anything other than the latch lock at the frame.

Could've been better, could've been worse

When we first arrived the host was kind enough to let us drop our luggage by before check-in time, so we left groceries in (and out of) the fridge and when we were gone, the host messaged me informing us that the cleaner took everything out of the fridge+our bag thinking it was the last guests old food. I asked if it was thrown in the garbage and he quickly replied that they hadn't been thrown away. Once we officially checked in, we saw all of our food had dust all over it- so clearly after sweeping the floors, the cleaner emptied the dust pan onto the food. They could've been honest, that was the first annoyance. We stayed here for 8 nights and were only given 1 and a half rolls of toilet paper- and throughout the stay, we had to contact the host for more TP four times.. they were prompt/kind in response but we felt like we were bothering them with how many times we had to ask for more. Then we were also only given 1 towel each plus wash cloths... there aren't any washers and dryers available so we ended up buying more towels and leaving them so they'd have more available for future guests. As far as the other reviewers saying that they only had the basics, they were correct. This place would be better for 1-3 night stays.. I did love their comfy bed and comforter, and the range of apps on the tv as well as the great working A/C and heating system. Lots of hot water in the shower, too! This place has potential, just needs some extra love.

Very basic

Was provided with just basic items. 2 pillows on bed, took couch pillows to use on the bed. Provided with 2 towels on a 3 day stay. No rugs anywhere. Did provide coffee pods but no sugar or cream. Heat worked well. Outside door a little sketchy but hotel type stop installed inside. A brush to clean dishes but a stained towel to wipe them with. I guess i got what i paid for.
