About this property

Spectacular indoor-outdoor living

Happy Place to Gather. 3 Bedrooms, 4 Full Baths, Hot Tub, Convenient Location, Beautiful Indoor - Outdoor Living

This Arts & Crafts home mixes modern luxuries with distinctive architecture. Nestled against the National Seashore, the property is quiet yet a pleasant walk to Commercial Street action. First time offered.

Full Description
The heart of the first floor is a large gourmet kitchen complete with Wolf stove, double ovens, Sub-Zero fridge, high-end appliances, and fully stocked cupboards. An oversized island offers plenty of counter seating, and the adjacent screen porch and TV room keep everyone easily together. The living room offers several comfy lounging options, while the dining room can host 8 for a festive dinner party. A separate office with a high-speed mesh network overlooks the Zen Garden and is a quiet place for work

Three en-suite bedrooms are located on the second floor. The paneled primary bedroom suite is a sanctuary complete with seating area and fireplace. A marble bathroom has a jacuzzi tub, double vanity, large walk-in shower, and separate toilet room. Two private decks provide an outdoor shower and living space. One upper bedroom is clad in barn wood and has a private bath with a rain head shower. The other bedroom has soaring shiplap walls and a marble trimmed bathroom. Both guest bedrooms have large closets and quality mattresses for sound sleeping.

The property has perhaps the most magical entrance in Provincetown. The glow of lanterns guides you down a stairs from the road to the house. By the time you reach the front door, you have left the world behind. National Seashore conservation land borders two sides making it a quiet location. Extensive perennial gardens surround the house, with dozens of roses and hydrangeas in blooming color.

Several outdoor rooms bring options for fun and downtime. One terrace has an outdoor shower, a six-person hot tub, and access to a first floor bathroom. The kitchen deck holds a table perfect for breakfast sunshine, and an adjacent terrace is anchored by a fire pit ringed by Adirondack chairs. The front terrace invites sunset cocktails. The Zen Garden is a beautiful place of solitude. The dual Koi ponds and waterfalls give a soothing sound to the outdoor living and dining rooms.

Two full parking are at the top of the yard - just off the road.

Wedding Weekend
My partner and I had the opportunity to stay at this beautiful home for a long weekend. We wanted to splurge on an exceptionally nice rental, since we wanted to get married in Provincetown. This home and property ended up being so beautiful that we asked permission from the owners to have our ceremony on the grounds, to which they gratiously agreed! The owners were so kind and accomodating to all of our requests. They helped make our wedding weekend something that we'll never forget! The home is meticulously designed and decorated with so many fine details everywhere. The gardens and koi ponds are just over the top beautiful. The area is so quiet and calming. All together, the home and gardens nestled in a peaceful area contributed to our ability to relax and rejuvanate. We wouldn't hesitate to visit again!

Ptown Excellence
I will echo and concur with the three previous reviewers sentiments; this place is spectacular and the hosts are genuine, friendly, attentive, and clearly talented at design. Both Logan and Jerome greeted us at check in, and provided an excellent overview of the house's many features. They make you feel welcome immediately, and continue to do so throughout the stay. Although we experienced no problems during our visit, the speed with which they both responded to questions and recommendations (before and during our stay) leave us little doubt any issues that might come up would be quickly addressed. The house is truly a tranquil, private, zen like oasis (both inside and out) with obvious thought, care, and attention to detail taken on everything from the gardens, to the furniture, to the lovely artwork. We have visited some prestigious five star resorts that didn't have the artistic flow this house does. I do want to make special note of the kitchen; I have an excellent chef grade professional kitchen at home that I use extensively. I have never experienced a rental kitchen that was even close to on par with my own until now. Wow. What an absolute pleasure for anyone who enjoys cooking and/or baking to spend time in. The beds, linens and towels were very comfortable and of excellent quality. All the recommendations provided by both hosts (restaurants, activities, hikes, etc.) were appreciated and highly regarded as well. Most highly recommended!!

Magnificent Getaway
This property is amazing!! The photos do not capture the exquisite details of this beautiful home and tranquil, well crafted and maintained gardens. Every detail is finely crafted with high end appliances, bedding and original artwork throughout the house. Beds were super comfy with luxury linens. Kitchen comes well stocked with spices, sugar, oils, tons of cookware, dinnerware, stem ware. Beach chairs, cooler and towels provided for trips to the National Seashore. Wooded hiking trails just outside the garden gate lead to the dunes with wild blueberries along the trail. Just 1.8 miles from town center yet worlds away in terms tranquility. The property is very private with outdoor showers and multiple porches and outside seating areas. The hot tub accommodates 6 adults. There are many places to gather inside and out and enjoy the company of your group and plenty of places to enjoy solitude and quiet. This is by far the finest VRBO home I have ever stayed in. The house has definite "movie star"quality vibe. Jerome and Logan are a pleasure to work with. Logan met us when we arrive and explained some of the nuances of the house. We would love to come back for a longer stay, 4 nights/5 days was not long enough to take advantage of all this lovely home and Ptown have to offer.

A magical place to stay!
The pictures do not do this place justice. The house and gardens are exquisite. Jerome and Logan have a clear eye for design, everything is so well thought through from the artwork to the architecture! We had a rainy July 4th weekend but it did not matter because being stuck at the house was an absolute treat! Logan is so lovely, he gave us a wonderful tour, and every room took my breath away. What a treat to have the privilege of staying at a place Jerome has clearly turned into a sanctuary! We hope we get a chance to come back!

Homeaway from home.
Booking this incredible sanctuary for Memorial Day weekend made for such a cherished time for my friends and I. We were received with a warm and inviting welcome by our host, Logan upon arrival who took the time to familiarize us with the home complete with full amenities. The private gardens surrounding the home, precious Koi ponds, outdoor showers under open sky, hot tub, and fire pits and BBQ grill all made for truly a luxurious and fun experience to enjoy at any time of the day or night. Highly responsive communication throughout our stay until the bittersweet end. Looking forward to a rebooking. Highly recommend!

About the host

Born and raised in Minnesota, I come from a large family (one of six kids), and spent summers on the lake and at my grandparents’ farm. I traveled east for college, and remained in Boston. Soon after graduation and newly out, I first experienced Provincetown with a cadre of friends. I was hooked. The village offered an openness, beauty, charm, and craziness that has welcomed me back for many years. I am now fortunate to call Ptown home after retiring a few years ago.

Why they chose this property

Having traveled extensively for work, it was really important for me to have an immediate sense of connection and comfort while at home. I bought this property 15 years ago, and undertook a complete rebuild to provide that place of rest and relaxation. You’re close to town action - a pleasant east side walk - but you may not want to leave the grounds.
