About this property

Our western cedar sided log cabin is nestled three miles off any paved road for rest and relaxation.

Plenty of wildlife such as deer and turkey are often all around. The main cabin has two bedrooms one bath with a covered porch for grilling and socializing. An optional, attached while un-adjoining, guests suite is available for additional accommodations. Both are of tongue and groove cypress for an aromatic smell and cabin feel. Main cabin has fully equipped kitchen while guests suite has a kitchenette.

Deck walk goes straight to our river deck from there a 65 foot aluminum walkway drops to a floating boat dock.

Very Peaceful

This is the second time staying at this property and we loved it just as much as the last time. This is a fairly rustic location and as long as it is approached as such it is very enjoyable and extremely peaceful. We will be back again in the future.

Perfect cabin on the river!

We rented the main cabin along with the optional guest cabin. It was great since we needed the extra space. Lots of parking in front and the place was clean and cute. The beds were comfortable and you can't beat the view right on the river. There's something to be said for the peace and tranquility out there, a great break from city life.

Cozy cabin

Our stay was great, cabin property was beautiful. Upgrades needed to outdoor grills and coffee pot and Tupperware would be useful. Location was close to the springs that we visited, Ginnie and Ichetucknee.

I've been in the cabinet / millwork business most of my adult life .
My wife and I have been married for thirty one years and we have a twenty four year old son . I've been a Suwannee River fan since my parents had a place not far from ours in the late 60's .
I love kayaking , skiing, scuba , and about any other water sport.

Why they chose this property

. Although we had a river house some six miles down the river, our new cabin is much more secluded with very little passing traffic as we are located on a dead end street. Our property is 1.77 acres with 365 feet of river frontage .
If you fish or ski , we have a covered boat dock and there are three
boat ramps in close proximity to us .
If you like kayaking as we do , your kayak or canoe may be launched at several sites depending on the length of the trip you want .
You may also float down part of three rivers in a days time . Starting at the itchetucknee , from there down to the Santa Fe , and from the Santa Fe into the Suwannee .

What makes this property unique

Swimming and snorkeling is perfect as we are able to go up and down the Suwannee river and the Sante Fe river that is only two miles away. Our location is below all rocky parts of the river allowing one to travel all the way to the gulf. [around 62 miles]
