We had such a great stay! The property was perfect in every way. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to cook meals. Very spacious inside and out. The area is very peaceful and quiet and the yard is very clean and kept up. Highly recommend!

Pet-friendly and close to the lake

The home was clean and well stocked. The power front door lock was a little touchy and took some time to get the used to pressing at the right speed and pressure to enter the code successfully. One of the beds was either an air mattress or felt like it was. But my son slept in that room and he can sleep on anything so it was OK. Other than that, the home did not have any major issues. The property is pretty far out on Highway 9 but if you are planning to go to Thunderbird Lake, it is literally right across the street/highway. The roads leading to the home are pretty rough (not paved) so you have to take it slow. And there were a couple of large neighborhood dogs roaming freely when we arrived. They were super-friendly but if you have pets, make sure you keep them on a leash when you are outside. The backyard was nice and secluded and the hot tub was clean and heated (we did not get a chance to use it). The firepit was nice as well and there was plenty of firewood available. Careful in the backyard if you have pets. There were lots of burrs in the back while we were there that our little dog kept getting in their fur. Overall, we were very happy with the place. It was as-advertised and priced very well.

Cozy Cottage

We were in town for a wedding. The home was a good fit for us. It was in a private, wooded neighborhood. The road is rough. We have an suv so it didn’t bother us much. The hot tub and outdoor tv were a nice touch!! We enjoyed ourselves!! Thank you

Be aware of issues

We reserved this property for a two night stay. We were given the check in process and code. When we arrived at the property the lock box code would not work consistently. We contacted the owner and VRBO. At the time we were trying to access the property - the owner non- responsive and she refused to refund the rental fee since our cancellation period has passed (2 months prior to the stay). Concerning considering owner knew there was an issue with the lock box from June (our stay was end of September) and refused to refund and help us when we could not access the property.
