This is our second stay at this lake retreat. We enjoy the beautiful sunsets and the fun and games with family. Such a comfortable lake home for us to enjoy our family!
Five adults stayed for a local wedding. The house was clean and comfy and had all of the essentials for a long weekend visit. The lake view is beautiful and we were able to rent the pontoon boat to get out and see the rest of the lake. If we are ever back in the area then we would love to stay again.
Perfect stay at the LakeHouse! Peaceful and relaxing. The lake is beautiful, caught a lot of fish....The owners took exceptional care of us for Easter, they hid eggs around the house and had smores supplies in a basket. Highly recommend!!
We have family living in Centralia, and it was a perfect place for a group of extended family to come and enjoy the holiday together. To bad it was in the middle of winter. There were lots of outdoor things that would have been fun to do. We did enjoy the games inside.
This was the perfect place for our family to meet! Adults enjoyed the game room and kids loved the bunk beds. We enjoyed fishing off dock and boat. Fish were small, but active and that was great for entertainment.
The lake is located near Salem, where there is a fantastic aquatic center if swimming in the lake is not for you.
Our hosts were responsive to all our needs and we would stay there again.
Was an amazing stay, communication with hosts was spot on, they were quick to answer and resolve any issues and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.
Only downfall I was the only one that didn't catch a FISH out of 7 of us (ugg) lol.
We will be back. Thanks for the great memories with my grandchildren.

Unfortunately the property is a little more run down then we thought it would be and we did not feel like everything was clean and the foosball table was broken ( this was one of the 2 things that sold us on the property, but then we couldn’t get the lights outside to work to the back/front deck- so we didn’t feel like going up & down stairs to get to the fire pit in the dark so that was kind of a bummer but we made the the best of it and enjoyed the pool table and the shuffleboard table. The beds were comfortable and the decor is pretty cool for a lake house.
This was our 2nd visit to this home. My husbands family resides in Centralia. This home allows us to visit with plenty of space for us while not crowding our families homes. Everything at this home was great. This time we did not rent the boat so it was a bit hot as you really cant go in the water near the home. I did not rate full stars for cleanliness. This was only because of the outside. The grill was extremely dirty and we spent time cleaning it last time we stayed at this home, so we skipped grilling out this time. There was no place (hole) in the table to set the umbrella, and the deck was full of debris. I kept wishing there was a deck broom available as i would have been more than happy to sweep off the deck. Other than that the inside of the home was very clean and had everything you needed to cook meals. My only suggestion is more forks available. Thank you for sharing your home.
We were very excited about our trip. We were bringing elderly parents up to go fishing. When the request for reservation was made it was specifically stated that we needed to rent the pontoon boat for elderly parents to be able fish. We reached out to owner weeks before asking how we went able rent pontoon boat. He responds was we will connect upon arrival for boat rental. The day we were traveling 5 hours with elderly parents the owner messaged saying the boat was inoperative due to a rope caught in motor by last renter. I replied with in 2 minutes of his message. The owner didn’t respond to my messages til an hour after arrived at his property. He basically said I’m sorry this is an inconvenience for you but it’s an inconvenience for me as well. And we haven’t found a solution for you yet. I called VRBO and after several attempts to contact own with no response they moved us to another VRBO in the area where we were able to secure a boat rental for our parents. I got the feeling this owner has done this before per reviews I just read after our poor experience.
On top of all this hassle this property was run down and in poor condition. The outside was awful. The two tier deck is falling apart there are no safety spindles in some large areas. The biggest draw to the stay here was to rent and use the pontoon boat. This area has little to do outside of fishing. The pontoon boat docked at their dock was not maintained and in deplorable condition. We would not recommend!!!
The stay was great. Loved the country setting as it was peaceful and relaxing. The rental was as described in the listing. Rob was responsive to questions, check in was effortless.
Cute and clean lake home. The game room provided activities for all ages. Taught some kids how to play pool and darts. Ample sleeping space. Kids had fun casting off the dock. So nice to have a private boat launch so close. Spent hours on the lake tubing and skiing. Our group of 10 had a blast.
