About this property

Cozy Montana retreat!

Attention weary travelers!

Tucked away down a picturesque mountain valley road outside of town, we have a peaceful piece of the wilderness and outdoors available!

A pleasant creek running through the property, borders a national forest, hiking trails, no highway noise, beautiful night skies (no light pollution), our humble cabin property is perfectly situated to get away from it all!

The entire basement is what this listing is for.

Complete with a full kitchen, laundry room, private bedroom and bathroom. Cozy living space next to a huge steel wood burner, 65” TV with lots of streaming stations to choose from, and includes Wi-Fi access. Everything you’ll need for a short term stay or long one!
Listing shows a queen bed, and a bunk area, but we have 2 additional floor mattresses should you need places to sleep 2 additional kiddos.

Outside we have a nice sitting area next to a fire pit. A short 15 second walk and you’re down by the crick with a peaceful scene and other sitting areas, surrounded by nature at its finest.

Perfect for anyone, any family at any size looking for an adventure, or a nice place to stay as you’re passing through. Plenty of space for your pets to roam, lots of open outdoors for the kids to play, or perhaps all you’re after is a quiet place to relax.
Either way we got you.

We are far enough away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, yet we have all the modern conveniences of stores and things to do nearby.

As you may (or may not) know, to get anywhere worthwhile in Montana you’ll spend some time on the road. Our place sits nicely between most Montana destinations.

Major cities nearby with many charming small towns in between. Lots of attractions around and many hidden gems. Got your outdoors covered: Hiking, biking, fishing, hunting, and skiing - all nearby.

See you soon!

Wonderful place to stay
Very nice and spacious accommodations. Newly renovated, full kitchen, nice bathroom and great living/hangout spaces. We wanted a place to stop for the night between Glacier and Billings. Josh’s place exceeded expectations in every way, we wish we’d had an extra night or two to stay and enjoy the area. Great communication from the host.

Beautiful cabin nestled in the mountains. Mountain views and beautiful sunsets just down the road. Much more than any hotel could offer. Owners were very accommodating. Made me feel like a guest, not a renter. Perfect proximity to go anywhere. I was able to easily goto Yellowstone and the Beartooth Highway all the way to Red Lodge and back in a day trip. I was able to easily goto Glacier National Park and drive the Going to the Sun Rd, and back in a day trip. I could go on and on about this place. Well worth it and highly recommend.

Boulder Gem
We came to see Grand Teton , Yellowstone, and Glacier and the beautiful country in between! This was the perfect location to experience the towns of Livingston, Butte, Bozeman, and Helena. We have fallen in love with Montana. This house in Boulder is a gem…location, quiet, and beautiful. The house was decorated very well and very comfortably. Every thing we needed was here. If we should venture this way again we would definitely stay here!!

I’m a retired Navy Master Chief, my lovely wife is a licensed marriage and family therapist.

I grew up in a suburban community outside the small town of Katy, TX. Each summer I spent time with my grandfather in Tomball, TX, or as I used to call it, the “country”. The home he built with his own hands sat inside a forest full of pines. To get there we had to drive forever, and pass several ranches along the way.

This is our forever home, and this property is certainly “country-like” with its location and its fair share of surrounding ranches. It reminds me of my fondest childhood memories exploring the great outdoors and playing outside all day long at my grandfathers house.

We thought to share it with you!
