About this property
Quiet Sunny Central. Near Temescal UC Berk SF BART
Stylish, modern studio with private outdoor space for lounging. You can cook with the Breville oven, burners or microwave, but really, why, when there is so much good food in nearby Temescal. For me, the studio calls out to read in the comfy chair, work at the West Elm breakfast bar or curl up for a good night's sleep. Otherwise, just sip some wine and gaze at the art!
Please message me b4 booking. More dates are available.
Easy street parking. Optional locked parking. Pets okay. Laundry on site.
The space
A note on COVID: I take special care to disinfect the unit between guests and to follow the recommended cleaning protocol. I have been fully vaccinated and wear my mask when interacting with guests.
The studio is located in the back of the building. There is an apartment above the studio.
If you are interested in booking longer term, please contact me for a special offer.
Before booking for more than two people, pls read the last paragraph in this section.
PARKING - Easy street parking can fill up late at night, so if you plan to arrive late, please let me know and I'll make room for you in the driveway. If you prefer to park in a gated, locked area, (say because you have a ton of stuff in your car) please let me know. I charge $15 for locked parking.
OUTDOOR SPACE - Right now, the area directly outside the studio has a table and chairs and a sofa for hanging out. It's sunny, and Also available to other guests. It's not totally set up yet - there is some wood and pieces of a shed being built - but, you can still enjoy the sun from there.
LOVING CANINE GREETER - I have a medium-sized dog. I promise that you won't ever find a warmer, more loving, gentle soul. Pure bred Oakland Street Dog. She is rarely in the studio, but there's a good chance she may be part of your greeting party as you come and go. She will be happy to see you and to be pet and well-received. She also understands "no" and is definitely better behaved than I was at her age.
BOOKING FOR MORE THAN TWO - The space is luxurious for two and really super tight for four. Three people, with one on an inflatable mattress has worked well for guests. Note that the inflatable takes up most of the floor space in the studio. If you are booking for more than two, please check in with me to clarify expectations. I want you to be happy.
Guest access
Studio is accessed from the driveway. There is another unit that is also accessed thru this driveway. It is above you on the side of the house. Walk Passed It.
Walk to BACK of the building and it has a white door.
There are outdoor tables and chairs and it is often very sunny. It's pleasant and outdoors, but very much in process - think driveway, concrete, shed, someplace to sit and great weather.
