Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Place all used towels and washcloths in laundry room.
Replace any water toys used to original location
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Life jackets are not provided. Please bring and wear for water device use. Must be wearing when using paddle boards or kayaks.
If using inflatable items please deflate, dry and replace in provided storage box. No more than 4 additional daytime guests allowed w/o added fee.
Place all used towels, wash cloths, sheets etc on floor in laundry room. Follow rules in instruction book provided.

Great getaway spot

This VRBO was great. The lake provided wonderful sunset views. Host was very helpful and made us feel welcomed. We enjoyed kayaking, playing cornhole, relaxing by the fire pit, and enjoying the peace and serenity of the lake.

We had a great stay at the lake, the check in process was easy and smooth. Protip screen shot your checkin procedures because cell service is spotty and I didn’t have the WiFi info saved to login and pull up check in procedures. The house is comfortable and well appointed and the lake access can’t be beat! We appreciated the fresh veggies shared from Pam’s garden!

Summit Lake Stay

It was a beautifully kept property on a spectacular part of Summit Lake. The owners were attentive and very nice. I can't think of anything the owners didn't furnish in the apartment for our needs. In fact it was stocked with everything possible. No exageration.

New Year’s on the Lake

My family and I usually try not to stay at properties co-located with the owner, but this experience was exceptional. Pam was very responsive before our arrival and after our departure. She respected our privacy during our stay. The house was well kept and there were little amenities/details that she paid special attention for our stay. Such as champagne, head lamps and lanterns to help us celebrate the New Year and even launched fireworks with us! We felt very welcomed!

You will be so pleased you rented this place!

I’m not sure about you, but I get short term rental anxiety when I rent a place, I worry it will be disappointing on arrival. Put your worries at ease when you rent this place! The lake location is perfect! Nice dock with fun toys, nice beach. The beds are comfortable, the hot tub is lovely and the enclosed sun porch is a gem. The positioning in the lake optimizes the sun late into the day. The owners are delightful. I would totally stay here again.

4 Days of Lake Life

We had a wonderful stay on Summit Lake. Mornings started with coffee in the sunroom (we had our meals there, too) and afternoons kayaking, swimming, sunning and floating. We read, grilled dinner, watched the wildlife. Pam was a wonderful host who immediately responded to any questions we had, and gave us fresh lettuce from her greenhouse. The owners live above the rental unit, and based on the layout, we felt very private during our stay. We'll be back!

Beautiful lakefront property

The house was gorgeous and all cabinets were labeled for easy access. A little bit of a glitch in that I travel with a service dog and owner thought he was a pet but no issues once she realized that he was an ADA allowed accommodation. One issue is that both the driveway and steps leading down to the unit are very steep and the stairs do not have a handrail. My Mom is elderly and found the steps very difficult and could have led to a fall risk, Overall gorgeous property to stay at.

Practically perfect!

The rental unit is very clean, comfortable, spacious and well-stocked. We had all our meals on the sunporch, which has multiple sliding doors so you can open up and let the breezes in. The hot tub was sparkling clean and plenty of towels were provided. The lake is gorgeous, with clear water that was very comfortable for swimming in early August. Our family had a great time exploring the lake with the provided kayaks and paddle boards, and when we’d had enough time in the water, playing several rounds of cornhole while admiring the view. A beautiful end to the day was sitting around the fire toasting marshmallows and watching the sun set over the lake. Miraculously, there seemed to be no mosquitoes! Pam and Bob were wonderful, generous hosts. We would not hesitate to book again. Next time we hope to stay for longer!
