The Roma neighborhood began its development in 1906 by the wealthiest families of the time who were looking for a quiet and secluded refuge well connected to the city center. It was designed with wide boulevards, squares, tree-lined ridges, typical Parisian public sculptures, and eclectic architecture that combines styles from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. A perfect neighborhood to explore on foot and discover the spaces that emerge daily with innovative and creative proposals, to visit the restaurants and canteens that offer the most recognized cuisine of our country, or to enjoy the afternoon with a glass of wine from a terrace in front of the park. Currently "La Roma" is at the center of everything that is happening in the city and Casa Quetzal is the perfect place to start your experience.

The neighborhood can be easily explored on foot or by bicycle and you can find various friendly and fun options to move around all the streets of "La Roma" and its nearest neighborhoods of Condesa, Juárez, and Cuauhtémoc. Do not forget to check our city guide where you can find all our recommendations.

* UBER, DiDi y BEAT service

Great Location, Nice Retreat
We had a wonderful stay. Mexico City can be overwhelming and chaotic, but it’s worth it for all the wonderful sights, tastes, sounds, and experiences. This apartment was a peaceful retreat from everything happening in the city, but it was also close enough to walk to amazing restaurants and parks. We even walked over to Arena Mexico to watch Lucha Libre.

BEWARE — construction noise
The apartment and the location are great. The construction next door was unbearable. Waking up to hammering and drilling is not what one would call ideal vacation vibes. More transparency when booking would at least given us an option. Instead we were stuck in a suboptimal situation. I would recommend this property with no hesitation given normal circumstances. As it stands, I'd would say avoid booking it until the construction work next door is complete.
