Adorable cottage

We were in the area for the Little House on the Prairie Reunion event and the location was great. The house has been nicely renovated & was a great place to chill out in the evening after busy event days,

Cozy Lakefront Get-away

I booked this property for some friends of mine who were coming to the area. As soon as they stepped inside, they were wowed. The place is clean and decorated nice. And the view from the front deck and out the front windows is amazing. Both nights they stayed they said were very restful.

Peaceful Gem

This cabin had a warm and inviting atmosphere with its lovely and artistic setting, comfortable living area, two bedrooms simply laid out, no clutter, and a kitchen-dining room that brought forth an classic and intimate setting. It is a place for peaceful reflection, an outdoor deck place for meditation, and a taste of restorative being.

Tranquil Retreat

My husband and I wanted a tranquil place for a mini retreat after a hectic summer. The was just what we wanted. It is clean, the kitchen is well equipped, the master bedroom bed was comfortable, the hosts are very responsive and the views are amazing. The photos on VRBO do not do the gorgeous views justice. Once you book your time at Lake Armstrong Cottage (and you will not be disappointed) be sure to: 1. If you love bird watching, bring binoculars. 2. If you love antique shopping or thrift shopping, checkout Lights and Beyond on 3rd Street in Tracy (just 15 minutes away.) My husband and I had so much fun in that store. 3. Almich Market, in Slayton, is great for forgotten groceries (thanks Nate and Missy for the recommendation. 4. We also enjoying eating out at the Hub Drive (recommended by Nate and Missy) in Slayton and Thee Old Bank in Tracy. 5. Need Coffee? The Plaid Moose in Slayton is worth checking out too. My husband and I had a great time there and can tell in the summer it would be a fun spot to revisit.
