Spa room and sauna with heated pebble stone floor, bench seat, mini fridge, lots of spa towels, bathroom, and entrance to our private back patio with hot tub, outdoor shower (hot & cold) and outdoor furniture.

Library with lots of books, magazines, board games, puzzles and DVDs. Covered deck with BBQ grill.

Kitchen with everything you'll ever need (too much to list). Spacious pantry. Big kitchen island seats 6+ and huge dinning room table for 16 guests (one high chair provided). All that plus two 9 by 5 foot corner to corner windows with gorgeous ocean and mountain views and breathtaking sunsets.

Huge outdoor covered deck with ocean and mountain view. Comfortable outdoor furniture and BBQ grill located on the main gathering level.

Back patio is all gated with hot tub, outdoor heated shower, and outdoor dining table. Easy access to spa room and sauna.

Some of the best parking in town--up to 6 cars double parked. WiFi throughout the house. Beach chairs, blankets, umbrellas, flashlights and beach toys provided. Playpen, high chair and stair gate for the babies. Two big toy boxes for older children. Fully insulated walls and ceiling to reduce the noise factor. Key pad on front door (no keys ever needed). Please note this home is equipped with a security camera on the exterior of the front entrance.

Nice Stay

Property is nice. Beautiful view, welcomed amenities, my family was pretty happy. We could not get the remote to work on TV near Arcade. Three flights of stairs was a workout, getting our kitchen items up all those stairs was challenging. Took some time to warm the house up. The pilot light to fireplace was hidden, but host helped us locate it. Overall we had a great time at this property, I would rent it again.

Mostly Wonderful

Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Castle. We loved that each bedroom had it's own bathroom, parking was plentiful, location worked well for us, and the pool table and sauna were great to have! Biggest damper was check in. Check in time is 5:00 (which already felt late, but especially late since our flight came in before noon). We attempted an early check in around 4:00 but we were told by the cleaning lady that she had just arrived and it was only her. She said she'd be finished by 5:30. We hung out at the beach until 5:30 and went back to the house when we got a call saying they wouldn't be ready until 6:00. We absolutely wanted a clean house so of course we were willing to wait, but we were all frustrated. We opted for just hanging out in our cars in the parking. Shortly after 6:00 the cleaning lady opened the door and started throwing stuff out into the parking area. We decided to give her some space and avoid any encounters so we drove around the neighborhood until she left after 6:15. Not the greatest start to our stay. But at least the house was clean. Two other cons--1) no curtains or blinds in the upstairs living area. Beautiful view, but when the sun shines in it is very bright and gets really warm. 2) No A/C which was very desirable when that afternoon sun started shining in. When we checked out, we were all happy with the house and our time there. Just wanted to mention the late check in for others to be prepared for a delay.

Great place for retreat

My students and I stayed at Castle at Roads End for our leadership retreat. The house was a suitable for our needs. It was spacious with a decent size kitchen area. My students really enjoyed the game room as well as the sauna. I appreciated the layout of the space because it allowed us to congregate comfortably and have an engaging retreat. Definitely would recommend this property and/or use it for future retreats.

Great for our family reunion!

This house was great, we loved that all but one bedroom had a bathroom in it, and all but one bedroom had bunkbeds in them. There was plenty of room for everyone! Couches were comfortable, plenty of dishes, bowls, pans, etc. There are a lot of stairs in this house which could be something to consider based on the people in your group. Would come again!!!!

Family Reunion at the Castle

This property was excellent with 4 individual family rooms with bunk beds and ensuite bathrooms on the same floor. A quiet room for grandma and grandpa on the first floor. Good spaces for young kids to play. Full sauna and roomy hot tub were a bonus. Very clean and nice welcome basket. Would have liked a shorter walk to the beach, but very doable even with littles.

Large with beautiful ocean views.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean, has great amenties, and a beatiful ocean view. Beach access was just down the road a short drive and within walking distance. The racks for the oven are slightly too small for the oven and so it was only functional on the lowest level which made only one rack usable. The room with the king has 2 bunkbeds and one king, which was different than the listing that stated 2 kings and 1 bunkbed. Overall this house served our ladies retreat well as the third floor is large and spacious and had plenty of room for our gathering of 16 ladies.

Great house for family events

Third stay here and its still great. Clean, spacious, and plenty of beds. Miss the larger table upstairs as we used to be able to seat 16, but now its 10.

There was hair in the beds, food particles in the fridge and food on the floor. Owners changed between reservation and arrival which was terribly inconvenient and arrangements were not honored by new owner

Perfect for a weekend with friends

The Castle is a blast. From the sauna to the pool table to the arcade, all the amenities are a ton of fun. Waking distance to the beach and casino are big perks. Shockingly good DVD collection for all you film aficionados out there. Big spacious house, perfect for large groups. This house goes to eleven!

Absolutely amazing for a big group

This house was amazing! Plenty of room for everyone (16 of us). Everything was very well stocked, plenty of towels and bedding. It was just a short walk to the beach. The only negative is the stairs so many stairs lol but other than that the house was absolutely amazing! It is rare I stay in a place that is as nice as thr pictures and this one looks better in person!

Such a great house!

3 stories = lots of stairs. Be prepared for that! We are a family of 5 with three teenagers. This house allowed for everyone to have their own room, own bathroom and room to explore. Beds were comfy, kitchen stocked and game room utilized to the max. Great location, well organized and close beach access…..really a great house!

Great place for a big group! Clean, well maintained and the house was completely stocked with kitchen wear, towels and blankets. We had 16 people and the house fir us perfectly with extra room. Sauna didn't work, but overall a great experience. Will rent again.

Space for our large family was great, plenty of seating for everyone. Nice having the kids in play area so adults could visit in a more quiet area. Walk to beach was close and easy for all of us. Was disappointed in the hot tub, needed to be maintained better. Easy fix! Thank you for sharing your home.
