About this property

This cute home offers a open concept living room into the kitchen! We offer a stocked pantry/kitchen and bathroom to help settle you in for your stay! The house isn’t large but it does have some good space to it, the living area is spacious and the bedrooms are pretty decent size! This space offers 2 rooms but we do welcome 6 guests because we can provide a queen blow up mattress that can be blown up comfortably in the living room!
Do you have more than 6 guests? Not a problem! We can try arranging anything to make it more comfortable for your stay!

This house is only 10 minutes to downtown,
15 minutes to Fair Grounds and 12 Minutes to Adventureland!
It’s a great location to get away from all the noise of downtown but also pretty close to all the events!
We are only a 15 min walk to plenty of shops and bakeries! Our favorite spot is The Highland Bakery and Scooters!

We offer a stocked pantry, beer, soda, and water in the fridge, coffee for the Keurig and coffee machine, laundry detergent, toothbrush/toothpaste and Netflix/Disney+/Hulu and games! We hope that offering even these small things you can sit and relax for a bit until you make it out around town!

One of the biggest perks when it comes to booking with us is that both my husband and I clean our airbnbs! We hold a very high standard for cleanliness and always want our guests to have a clean, safe and quiet place to stay! Every item that can be washed after someone checks out, will definitely be washed! (wether it was touched by the previous guest or not) Who doesn’t love a clean and tidy home?

We love to see families connect and enjoy their time together! During the warmer months (April - October) we offer a grill and outdoor seating for the back yard which is a pretty good size! Enjoy the outdoors as much as you can! If the grill and seating is needed outside our seasonal time, just let us know!

We love dogs! Please make sure to add them in your reservation! We do charge a addition cleaning fee but it doesn’t matter how many furry friends you bring with you!

This house is a no shoes and no smoking home! We wash the carpets/rugs and floors constantly and want to ensure that our guests all get a clean experience!

Guest access is keyless! There are 2 entrances and both are a keyless entry! The front door leads into the living room and the side door leads into the laundry/mud room!
The front door comes with a Key Card you can use while you stay with us. It makes entering the house fast and easy!

Do not book this place. NEXT.

I booked a 2 night stay. This place looks really nice on pictures, but does not look nice in person. When we arrived it felt like people actively lived in this house. The only thing missing was pictures of the family. There was food in the fridge and the bathtub was dirty. Anyways, we completed our stay an we left. 5days later, after we had check out. The owner reaches out to me requesting a payment for additional cleaning of $100 and claims I did not mention I had a dog. While booking the reservation in the message box I noted I have a service dog with me. She claims she never got it. Then how did she know I had a dog with me? The additional cleaning fee is for a “pee” stain on the bed and for not putting the sheets in the washer. She send me a picture of the stain and claims it wasn’t there before we got there because they are the ones that clean all the time and blah blah blah. Clearly they don’t clean well since the bathroom and fridge were not clean. The only stain on the bed sheets was a small stain coconut oil. It didn’t even stain the bed because the sheets were off at this time. So the stain she’s claiming is pee does not even match with the stain In the sheets. Also, the stain on the picture she send me looks to be on the edge of the bed. If that is a pee stain it would consist that of a child since it’s not that big. An adult pee stain would be quite large. In all, the customer service with the owner was terrible. Specially her lying to get extra money.

Home with mice feces, and air conditioning not working, damp, musty smell. Very very bad

The home presented comfortable when checked in. Instantly a damp basement smell. Went to put groceries away and refrigerator was full of previous renter's belongings from Feb. 2023. Also when my girls went to lay down to watch tv, there were mouse droppings on the main living room carpet, which I also snapped pics of and sent to her. I then checked the pantry that as with mouse droppings as well.. She explained this as someone digging in the backyard. As the day went on the we realize the home is not cooling down It was 92degrees outside and 80 inside. I reported it to her and she wanted to come at 8pm when we had family over , my pets in the home, just a total invasion of privacy so she could check the basement. I let her know I would let I would let her know when we checked out as we could not sleep there with the air not working and the the stagnant smell of basement water. She proceeded through text that this they pay her bills for a sick spouse which is understandable because I have one as well, but no excuse as the condition of the home was totally unacceptable.

Comfortable, clean house

We stayed one night on our way across the country. The house is small but well set up, with lots of thoughtful details from the very friendly and responsive hosts.
