GPS usually works just fine, but because these are the mountains we encourage you to download maps before traveling. Also, our road splits - at the post with the cabin signs turn right instead of going straight.
Mountain roads lead to the best spots! To reach this sweet cabin, there is an initial steep switchback followed by about a half-mile of single lane gravel mountain road. The driveway is paved but also incredibly STEEP. For these reasons, AWD/4WD is strongly recommended year round.
NOTE: Right now, they are building some cabins in our area. This can make the start of the road extra bumpy and muddy when raining - be prepared. We have also experienced light construction noise during the day on weekdays. They build quickly so experiences may vary and hopefully they are done soon.
