Check-in with a personalized code for the door (no meeting for keys!). We will message you your code and check-in details the day before arrival.

GPS usually works just fine, but because these are the mountains we encourage you to download maps before traveling. Also, our road splits - at the post with the cabin signs turn right instead of going straight.

Mountain roads lead to the best spots! To reach this sweet cabin, there is an initial steep switchback followed by about a half-mile of single lane gravel mountain road. The driveway is paved but also incredibly STEEP. For these reasons, AWD/4WD is strongly recommended year round.

NOTE: Right now, they are building some cabins in our area. This can make the start of the road extra bumpy and muddy when raining - be prepared. We have also experienced light construction noise during the day on weekdays. They build quickly so experiences may vary and hopefully they are done soon.

Staying here you'll have central convenient access to not only the national park, but also Wears Valley, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg:

‒ 2 mi until you're cruising Scenic Foothills Pkwy
‒ 3 mi to Mountain Brothers General Store (horseback riding, Skylift, shopping)
‒ 3 mi to Wears Valley Zipline Adventure
‒ 4 mi to Great Smoky Mountains National Park
‒ 5 mi to two fast fun alpine coasters
‒ 7 mi to The Island, Pigeon Forge
‒ 9 mi to Smoky Mountain River Rat Tubing
‒ 11 mi to Dollywood
‒ 14 mi to Gatlinburg
‒ 15 mi to Soaky Mountain Waterpark

Awesome Cabin!
First off, great host as she is on it with great communication. Beautiful cabin with great amenities. If you like a firm bed, use the bedroom on the main floor, if not try the other 2 as they are softer. After hiking and exploring all day wind down at night in the hot tub. Overall good experience.

Family Fall Break
Very nice cabin! Plenty of room for my family of seven. Beds comfortable and would love to know what store the pillows on the bed came from because they were awesome! The host was the best. She really makes you feel welcomed.

Wonderful Stay
We stayed at the cabin for 6 days with our family of 5 and had plenty of space! Please know, you are staying in a remote-ish cabin.. make sure you have an appropriate vehicle. The roads are very windy and bumpy driving to the cabin and the driveway is very steep. The first night (since we had never seen it and it was getting dark) took a couple tries to get up. However, after that we had no issues. The cabin has everything you need! The bedding is wonderful, we now realize we need to add about 5 more pillows to our bed at home, haha. The kids each had their own room, which they loved. They had fun setting high scores on the arcade! We utilized the hot tub for a bit each night after exploring the town every day. We did not see any wildlife at the actual cabin, I think all of the construction surrounding kept them away. However, we drove to Cades Cove and saw plenty of bears, dear, turkey, etc - def recommend if you have not been! Overall it was a great cabin to stay at, and we really appreciate the host being so responsive and helpful the entire process from booking to checking out. Thank you!

Over the years our family has tried many new adventures and love spending time together exploring, playing games, or just relaxing watching a show. After having lived in Texas and Southern California, we've spent the last many years in Tennessee - enjoying everything it has to offer!

Why they chose this property

Our cabin in Sevierville is a little piece of heaven to us - tucked away on a wooded mountainside perfectly close to the national park for phenomenal hiking and exploring. Being used to the Rocky Mountain West, we needed mountains in our lives! We love the feel of Wears Valley - it feels much less touristy than Pigeon Forge but also has everything you want for vacation including the delicious local restaurants and plenty of adventures (Hawk sky lift, horseback rides, ATV rentals, etc.). Yet, we do pop into Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg just for fun. This cabin location makes it easy for us to choose our own adventure depending on our mood and energy level!

What makes this property unique

Favorite feature is the double wrap-around decks! With wooded surroundings, you can sit out on the deck and enjoy the peace of the outdoors.
