Step in through the front door into this home and immediately notice its regal interior decor, with intricate and breathtaking pictures adorning the walls and unique furnishings. Fire up the gas grill and throw some patties on for a barbecue lunch special as your friends relax out on the patio area. If you're in the mood for another meal later on in the evening, the full kitchen has got you covered! Around nighttime, roast some marshmallows over the firepit and look up at the starry night sky in amazement. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Such a great house!

We thought this rental was perfect! It is conveniently located between downtown & La Jolla and it's close to the mall and restaurants. We could quickly get anywhere we wanted! The house is cozy, clean, and well-stocked. We hosted Thanksgiving dinner here with relatives who live in San Diego and we had everything we needed and more in the kitchen - pots, pans, baking dishes, utensils - everything. The beds were comfortable and all the rooms were clean! We also loved the backyard. There was a very clean and operable fire pit, nice patio furniture, hanging lights, and a great grill! We highly recommend The Grand Respite and would lease it again!!

Wonderful, well maintained property

We had a 2 night stay. The property is lovingly appointed and well maintained. Great location. Easy access and parking. The communication and getting into the house was excellent. It would be helpful to have a guest welcome folder with tips on how to use appliances and how to lock the door. I was able to figure everything out, but it took some time. Communication with the management company help center was good but the operator could not answer my question promptly. Overall we are very pleased with our experience.

Hidden Gem

This house is in a great location. Comfy beds, tv's in each room, great water pressure in showers. Fully equipped kitchen...great if you like to cook for the family. Outstanding property management company in case you have an issue.

Great Central Location

Nice accommodations with plenty of room for 8. Furnished very well to accommodate a short or long stay. Would be nice to have a second designated parking space but parking wasn't bad. Would like to stay again.

Convenient access to everywhere

We had multiple agendas…downtown, The USSMidway, two universities to tour, MCRD, airport pick ups, Little Italy, Mission Beach…all were just short trips by car or taking the transit train. The house was spacious, clean and comfortable.
