Lake view with access to beautiful 5,685-acre Lake Weir. Bring your boat, fishing gear and water toys. Boat rentals are available at Eaton's Beach located on the South side of the lake. There are two restaurants with entertainment on the lake: Gator Joe's and Eaton's Beach. Both are accessible from water or land. Explore the great outdoors of Ocala National Forest, Silver Springs, Juniper Springs, Salt Springs. Enjoy shopping and dining at the Villages or take a trip to the Orlando Theme Parks which are approximately 64 miles away. If you enjoy golf, bring the clubs. There are many golf courses in this area to choose from.

Relaxing beautiful resort feeling cottage

We are so impressed with this VRBO, it gives you a Northern WI lake home feeling. Cottage is spacious and has everything you need for a long stay. Our dog enjoyed the grounds and watching his owner fish from the dock. Very homey comfortable feeling. Lots of birds to see and listen too. Owners are very gracious and will take care of anything you need. They are always quick to respond. This was everything we were looking for away from the busy city areas. It’s lake living!!

I am 5th generation Floridian who loves the outdoors and appreciates all of natures wonders and beauty. I have been coming to Lake Weir on a regular bases since my parents first bought the property in 1985. I have enjoyed water skiing, fishing, boating, or just sitting on the shore in the beautiful Florida sun. I love coming up here to get away from the hustle of the big city and to relax stress free.

Why they chose this property

This property is located in the small town of Oklawaha, Florida. There are two traffic lights here. However, just to the South is the Villages, where there is any kind of shop or restaurant you would ever want to patronize. To the North West is Ocala, which also has all the amenities of a big city. The property is on the North side of Lake Weir, which is one of the cleanest lakes in Florida.
