Short of Staff, Short of Patience
The first night me and my spouse arrived we requested a mini fridge be brought and placed in our room considering we had food to preserve for our stay. Whomever brought the fridge only knocked loudly and disappeared before we could interact in person, leaving the dolly along with the mini fridge outside in the middle of the hallway for me to lug around abd place personally inside. I had driven from WA and was exhausted not expecting either I nor my spouse to have to manually carry it in.
Then the following day we leave for an all day winery tour just to come back to our room shocked and concerned to find the door completely open. House keeping had left the deadbolt of the door out so that anybody could simply walk in or out of our room. We called the front desk and reported the incident immediately. Front desk assured us that security would be on the way to assess the issue. After a while of waiting, no security showed up and no one was answering the phone, so I had to personally go downstairs to the front desk to see to it this issue gets handled correctly. We checked all of our belongings and thankfully nothing was taken, but we didn't feel comfortable staying in a room that was accessible to anybody for 10 hours. Kelsey was helpful enough to assist us and we were accommodated with another room, this time the fridge requested was brought into the room before we arrived, but overall we were still disappointed with the experience due to the inconvenience we had to endure.
