We enjoyed the house, it worked well and is close to our daughters.
Was very disappointed about the Hottub being dirty and wasn’t ready for us
The road to get there was icey and dangerous,
We learned a lot about steep hairpin turns.
Hope to rent in the future, in better weather.
We loved this place because it was peaceful, clean and plenty of room. We had a great stay on the night before my wedding that set the stage for an overall amazing weekend. Would definitely look to stay again for a special weekend.
This property was absolutely perfect for us! The home was so comfortable and the views were outstanding at sunrise from the master bedroom. Secluded enough for a real getaway experience but still close enough to head to civilization if desired. Cooking was also great as the kitchen was well stocked with equipment and staple ingredients and seasonings. 5 stars all the way!
Wonderful seclusion and peace. House is on top a ridge and has great views from the porch. Nice hot tub as well. No access to washer and dryer was a bit disappointing but not a big deal. The peace and quiet made up for anything missing. Easy access to Evergreen and Red Rocks.
I stayed here with my bridesmaids the night before my wedding. We had a great time with the hot tub and just spending time together. The next day some more family and friends joined us to help get ready for the wedding and it was a blast! Highly recommend this property for such occasion again! Plus the host was extremely gracious to allow us to do such a thing here, super grateful for her flexibility!
This whole place is so beautiful! It’s huge and gorgeous! The whole place is spacious and beautiful, inside and outside! The advertised photos do not do it justice. It was so fun staying in this gorgeous mountain cabin with my husband, sister in-law, and her boyfriend! We will definitely be back someday!!
My girls and I had a much needed getaway here. Loved the log cabin and views. Trip was quick and simple and relaxing. I can probably count on 1 hand the amount of times we ventured past the front porch. That porch had such a beautiful view and wholesome aura.
We enjoyed our stay. We mainly used the property for sleeping, but my daughters did enjoy using the hot tub after a day of skiing. We got snow on Christmas Eve and the road and driveway is no joke. We had a 4WD vehicle and needed it. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. The tub in the master wasn't working (there was a note with an explanation) but the shower worked which was ok with us. The views were great and the house was big and comfortable.
I booked this place for me and my bridesmaids a couple days before my wedding. We got married at the barn in evergreen and this place was perfect! It gave my girls and I a place to relax and hang out for the big day. The scenery was beautiful and the house was awesome! We actually cooked dinner one night in the home and I really enjoyed that. Not sure if it was mentioned but you’re literally on top of a mountain. First driving up to the place we had no idea where we were going but once getting there we had no regrets booking this home.
Visiting Colorado has been a dream of mine so I decided to book my stay here as a graduation present to myself. Everything about our stay was perfect. The hot tub was amazing after a long day of snowboarding, the views of the stars was my favorite part. The house was nicely updated and decorated, the kitchen had an abundance of everything you would need, towels were more than enough, the rooms were big and spacious. The master bedroom was beautiful especially, it has a balcony and a window in the bathroom looking over the mountains. The only issues we had was that we couldn’t figure out the volume on the upstairs tv so we didn’t end up using it and the people who were staying there before us must’ve left the door or windows open because there were quite a few of flies. But it was such minor inconveniences, we ended up just playing card games together every night and the flies were gone halfway through our week trip. Will definitely be booking here again.
Beautiful large home up in the mountains. Well furnished and plenty of kitchen gadgetry, surrounded by trees and views. If you want to get away, this is the place. The drive is a four wheel drive on dirt roads if its snowing or raining. It's a long drive to town. There wasn't shades in master bedroom so you are awake early, this also makes it uncomfortably hot in summer using ceiling fans. The owners replied to emails quickly but we couldn't get check in information a day early to give to our son with small child who would arrive first even though we told them we would be flying an unable to give them the info.
Awesome, beautiful, fantastic, majestic are just a few of the words that describe the three days here in this retreat, this refuge, this place to recharge. Day 1 (8/28/2024) Arrival was a fun adventure up the mountain. Thankfully, we drove our truck on vacation. The evening sunset was sublime, and the master bed was a soft comforting nest after our 1st Red Rocks Concert {
(Kruangbin). Day 2 (8/29) We spent the day doing absolutely nothing and it was everything we thought it could be. The sunrise brought soft red and orange hues transitioning into the clear blue sky to wake us gently, yet early. The evening brought the 2nd Red Rocks Concert (Ashes of Leviathan Tour). Driving back at night was possible thanks to God and google. Star gazing was celestial and wondrous.
Day 3 (8/30) A birthday celebration experienced through an uphill Cog railway climb up to Pikes Peak followed by shopping in Manitou Springs and more sunset and starset wonderment from nature's entertainment.
Sadly, we must depart. We would love to bring our family here when we return. This place is too great to experience only once.
May our Heavenly Father, Creator God bless this home, bless the owner, and bless everyone who stays here!!
