Good but room for improvement
This is a lovely old home with lots of charm. Comfortable beds, nice linens, nice toiletries. The biggest issue with this room was our inability to get a hot shower. Our family rented three rooms in this house and there was no problem in the other two showers, there was hot water in the faucet in the lavatory but nothing we did helped us access the hot water. I contacted the owner and she responded telling me that both handles had to be moved, we had tried that, every way we knew how. There was a tall faucet in the lavatory so I finally washed my hair there. It would be nice if there were light blocking window treatments to prevent waking at the break of day and I would imagine help with insulation for noise and in the colder months. No cups in one of the rooms, only one water in one room, not sure if it was supposed to be there or not.. This is a very, very noisy street as it is a highway with trucks and emergency vehicles running up and down the street all night. Overall nice but needs some tweaking. A guide to the house, laminated and posted would be helpful.
