Family get together
Our stay was quickly planned due to the doctor's diagnosis that my husband's momhad one month to live. We have 8 boys with their families in 5 different states.
The host was good at responding quickly to my questions until we paid. Then she wouldn't respond.
When we asked if we could check-in early since some of the families have little children, she ignored the question.
I had to ask for when details like getting the key. When we arrived, the key was in the front door and the house unlocked, dirty and all the outside trash bins were full.
Though the house has a kitchen, there wasnot enough place settings for the 14 that were permitted. Nor much of any cookware, serving utensils and no cutting boards or prep equipment.
Thwy had several trash bags but not enough for the weekend. Had a nice specialty coffeemaker, but not enough coffee.
We assumed since no instructions were given nor cleaning equipment available that all cleaning would be done by them , especially with the $350 add on after paying.
We were thankful for the location and the time we could spend with our mom/grandma but sorely disappointed with the accommodations.
