Nice House in remote area
The house itself is new and in good condition. If you're looking for a remote get-a-way then this is a great fit. The location of this property 10-15 min away from stores/gas stations - which we didn't realize when we booked it. The property was mostly clean - but the floors were dirty when we arrived and we had to do some clean up when we arrived.
Two things I hope that the owner changes - every VRBO I've stayed in has a "binder" with information about the house - ie. internet access, check-in, check-out processes, local food recommendations, etc. This property had nothing. I had to rely on a screenshot I'd sent to my co-worker to give them information about the rental, to get internet access information, because I didn't have great data coverage on my phone. The other unusual thing about this property is that there were very bare cupboards. No extra trash bag, paper towels, TP, dryer sheets, baggies, no broom (that I could find), etc. that you normally have on hand at a VRBO, just to stay there. I've never experienced that, and it was a little inconvenient.
