Unimpressive property and awful property manager

When we got to the property, the host told us that our unit is actually 10 mins away from the original listing. We were surprised as we chose the unit for its proximity to Western campus. The unit looked nothing like the pictures on the posting. Looking around the unit, we notice that the rooms were not clean very well and did not have basic amenities. One of the bathrooms did not have soap in it and every bathroom only had one roll of toilet paper in it. The garbage did not have garbage bags in them. And the TV was not working. Throughout all of this, the host did not respond to any of our messages. I would not recommend this property to anyone and I would not recommend any property that this host has to offer.

Miscommunication right from the start

I can't really review this property because I didn't stay there. I had to contact the host before the stay because I had not hear from them at all. Received an email with an address, but did not get a message from the host. Day of the stay I had to contact the host to ask where the property was. Complete confusion from there. Host said the property was not ready and said there was a better property I could stay at. This was closer to my family, so even though I was nervous, I agreed to look at it. Upon arrival, the host's husband was frantically trying to clean up. Just a disaster from start to finish. Barely anything inside, although the house was nice, just 2 years old. Thank goodness I was there to sleep and nothing else. Anyone else wanting to stay a few days and use the kitchen etc would be in trouble. You would have to bring everything with you, including bedding if you want decent bedding. Fruit flies galore in the bathrooms. Not a good experience at all.

Bring your own....Everything!

Unfortunately we were very disappointed. There was only a half roll of toilet paper in one of the washrooms. There was no towels, despite the listing stating there were towels. There was no hand soap in one of the washrooms and quarter filled ones in the other. No toaster despite the listing stating there was a toaster. Minimal cooking utensils. There were 3 forks. The sinks were not cleaned, filled with toothpaste and hair. Unfortunately did not look like they were cleaned between guests. There were hair elastics on the coffee tables in living room and used paper towel on the ground. There were no napkins, paper towels, or hand towels. No kitchen towels. We had to ask the host to bring toilet paper and she attempted to walk right in with the door code but it didnt work thankfully, ive never had that experience of a host not knocking and just walking in. This was suitable for our needs as it was just one night, however not for longer. The battery to the keypad to open the house died and so we were unable to lock it the next day to go in/ out. This could be an OK rental if it had the basics. I have never experienced such a bare rental.

Good property, lacking in the basics.

Although the property itself was very spacious and comfortable it lacked in basic necessities. It is advertised as suitable for up to 6 occupants but there was only one spoon,2 knives,3 assorted glasses,4 mugs etc etc. The cupboards in the kitchen are plentiful but there is nothing in them! cutlery and crockery needs to be provided before the next customer is sadly disappointed, we had intended to ask friends around to join us but could not because of these omissions.
