Special Notes:

This property was acquired in 2023 -- we use it as our winter residence and rent it out in the summer. It is a *beautiful* lake home, not a fishing camp! We've already done many upgrades, but long-term we'd like to do more. We're continuing a reduced rate for this summer to give people a chance to use it and to get some feedback. We'd love to hear both what you liked and what you thought could be better, so we have input on what could be adjusted/improved.

Our normal rates are presently $299 for Sunday-Thursday and $349 for Fridays & Saturdays. That is escalated to $329 and $384 for holiday periods. The rate is often reduced by 10% or so for last-minute rentals. The posted daily price on the website is often based on the last-minute rate – sorry for any confusion about that. There is also a $125 cleaning fee. These charges include applicable State and Parish taxes. (The rates on the VRBO website are accurate – this explanation is provided for info only.)

If you bring your boat, there is a boat launch by the Hwy 1200 bridge that is free to use. Please note that Lake Cotile is a reservoir and stumps can be a problem outside of the boat rows (channels). There is a cleared area by the Campground and Recreation Area at the north end of the lake where it is safe to waterski.

Although the Futon indicated for sleeping in the living room is a double bed, we list it as sleeping only one (most couples prefer a queen of king size bed).
