Magical Wedding
The house was incredible! We had the wedding of a lifetime at this house. It was a very small wedding but the house was perfect. The views were beautiful. The pictures didn’t lie. I can’t say enough wonderful things about the house it self! But I will say, the hot water wasn’t working in any of the showers but one. And the hot tub was also broken. I’ve spent many years going to Mexico and I’m aware of the hot water/water pressure issues. But I think for the price we should have had some hot water in all showers. The hot tub, although a bummer we understand things break. We still had a beautiful pool. The staff in the house were very friendly. We did have to use our friend to translate everything with them but that’s understandable, we are in a different country, we don’t expect them to be fluent. The only real issue we had was the communication with the owner of the listing. Multiple times we were asked if we had paid in full, told the place was booked when we were the ones that had booked it. It was all very confusing. I understand how property managers work with these websites and mistakes happen but this wasn’t a cheap 1 room situation. We had 10 ppl counting on us to have a place for them to stay for the week. Traveling to another country is already nerve wreaking, not knowing if you’ll have a place to stay when you get there is a new level of anxiety. There’s a lot more I could say good and not so great. But overall the villa is a dream. Absolutely worth every penny!
