Polar Express weekend- disappointed

We rented this house with 2 families (4 adults and 3 kids) so that we could go to the Polar express! We usually do house rentals so that we can cook and eat meals at the house. We had grocery shopped and meal prepped ahead of time and when we got to the property the oven didn’t work. I reached out and the communication started out as fine, however we were told they would try to find someone to come fix it and then just never responded. Unfortunately we were unable to eat our meals and had to eat out costing way more money. After our trip I tried to communicate my disappointment to see if they could make things right however still no response. I was extremely disappointed and would never stay here again. Also, mattresses are the firmest mattresses I’ve ever slept on, not very comfortable if you like a softer bed. They had pieces of paper taped to the master tub, washer/dryer and other areas of the house that said “out of order” so if you need a bathtub this place is not for you. Had the property just been responsive and owned up to our disappointment this review would have been much different. However they went silent. Beware.

Great get away spot

We had a lovely time, the house was very nice and clean. The neighborhood was quiet and set in the spectacular woods. I would recommend anyone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle this is the spot.
