Our five bedroom (sleeps a maximum of 12 guests) Lake house is located in Whispering Pines NC on Thagards Lake, only 15 minutes from Pinehurst, NC. Relax at our beautiful lake house with plenty of things to do! The water is warm in the summer, lots of kayaks, canoes, bikes, fishing, golf cart to explore the areas. Lots of golf courses available and quaint towns to visit. It is a kid's paradise!

Perfectly peaceful lake house getaway

Such a beautiful place to unwind on the lake and close to all the golf you could ever want. Excellent communication through the whole process. Dont overthink it, just book it

Great getaway!

We had a lovely time at this beautiful lake home. The pictures do not do the house justice. We enjoyed having coffee, and watching the ducks swimming on the lake. Unfortunately we didn't get to use the golf cart, but maybe another time. It was to cold to do lake stuff, but they have the kayaks for it. Fire pit, pleanty of seats to sit by the lake and enjoy the view. The master bedroom, and livingroom both have smart tvs. The other bedrooms didnt have tv's but we were fine with that. Internet worked fine which was a good thing because my phone didn't get good signal. Very easy to communicate with them, and checking in was a breeze. I would highly recommend this lake home!

Greetings Guests. My husband, Bob and I have owned our Whispering Pines lakehouse since 2007. Bob was born and raised in Southern Pines so it has been so nice to have the lakehouse on Thagard's Lake for our family and friends and we want to share it with you! We have lived, raised our family and work in Chapel HIll so we are close by. We hope that you will consider a stay at our spacious quiet lakehouse

Why they chose this property

Our lake house is in a very nice quiet neighborood that actually has many smaller lakes near by. It is fun to walk around the other lakes as well as our own lake (3.3 mile walk). There is so much to do in Whispering Pines since it is close to Pinehurst and Southern Pines.

What makes this property unique

Our property is unique because we are on such a beautiful peaceful lake. Sunrise and sunsets are the best! It is the only lake that allows motorized boats in the area. Our home is big and spacious and has everything you need for a fun and relaxing time. We have all the lake toys, bikes a golf cart, games that you need for a great time.
