About this property

Relax and enjoy a peaceful getaway at this centrally located cottage. Enjoy walking to wineries, restaurants, local parks, and even an Eco sanctuary. Resting just two blocks from the beautiful Umpqua River for kayaking and paddleboarding, this cottage is waiting for your perfect romantic getaway or family/friend week(end) vacation. New fully fenced yard and large patio. Located just 40 mins from the famous Oregon sand dunes at Winchester Bay for all day beach fun or south to the Wildlife Safari in Winston Ore.

The Space:
First level is a large open concept that includes the primary and secondary bedrooms with generous shared full bathroom. Additionally, there is an eat in kitchen with bar and dining table. Upper loft provides spacious game TV/Bonus area or 3rd bedroom with queen memory foam mattress sleeping sofa with dedicated full bathroom. Hosts have also provided 2 twin roll away beds in loft closets for flexible sleeping accomodations. Home is intentionally laid out and organized to be multi-functional and still offer a cozy cottage feel. Exterior lends itself to perfect morning coffee, quiet time or gazing at the stars. There is also a fully fenced yard with large welcoming patio to enjoy the landscapes of our darling town.

Perfect and Peaceful

Really nice and charming in-town house that has been completely remodeled. One block to main street in Elkton. The home was well stocked, very clean (i'm super picky too), and very comfortable. The town of Elkton in on the Umpqua river and offers great fishing. It is 30 minute drive to the Oregon Coast and Reedsport. The home was beautifully decorated and offered all the amenities you'd want. It's a great place for family get together or couples' weekend, etc. Town offers a couple of restaurants and winery within walking distance of the home. One word of advice is that most everything closes by 7PM, and there is no grocery store in town. So, if you are traveling and plan to roll in later in the evening, stock up on supplies before you get there. Overall - we had a wonderful time there and would definitely rent again!
